Barra Libre Sports Bar — Restaurant in Dallas

I would have probably rated this place 4 but they are not exactly upfront about a 3.88% charge for using a credit card. That comes as a surprise when you get the bill.

The place is lined with TV's all playing sports. It is clean and there is plenty of seating. My coworkers and I went around noon so the place was next to empty. It looks like it gets packed on the weekends.

Food was delicious and I was surprised at what I got for 10 dollars. Fries were made of real potato and the burger had a good sized patty in it.

Music so loud I couldn’t even hear the hostess. Modelo sat in front of me after a few minutes at the bar… thought maybe this place gave one out on the house? Cool! Nope. The bartender was so unaware that she sat the beer in front of me thinking I was the group sitting there previous I guess? No one said hi, no food menu was offered, bartender didn’t ID me even they have signs everywhere claiming that they do. Only plus about coming here were the pretty girls… but I guess that’s what they want you to think when everyone is dressed for the beach or a rave....
