Packing House Market — Attraction in Dallas

I don’t know if it was the assistant manager/part owner I dealt with today was just having a bad day, but he was extremely rude. After spending more than $1600 in their store, I was treated with disrespect and unprofessionalism. I will not tolerate that type of behavior from anyone. I purchased item (meat) in large quantities and a few was bad. We’re talking approximately $150 worth of meat that was bad compared to me spending $1600 in your store. The assistant manager did not want to replace the meat l/wanted to argue after I spoke with the manager who said it was no problem bring it in and we will replace it. He did not replace it only replaced a few . We have to demand respect and not let people walk over us. I definitely know my worth, and I would not allow disrespect from anyone nor tolerate it. I have been purchasing meat from them for years and he would allow one incident like this cause him to lose a customer. Guess he don’t care but he should. Im disappointed in his service/behavior!!!!!! jHe may be part owner I will update his name. Just because you have money don’t mean you can talk to people any type of way. People that are rating the Packing House low for the outside and for what goes on, outside the building, are silly. It's the hood, c'mon now, adjust to your environment and stop being so scary. Now about the inside, the store does appear to be dirty, but it's an old store, that dirt is permanently there. They haven't changed a thing since they opened probably. The store does have a smell, but it's an old store, so you gotta expect a smell, especially, since they have probably have never updated the store inside. Their meats don't have a smell, but some are discolored, ask them to not give you that meat. Sometimes they will give you bacon with the rind off, even though you've said rind on. The first 15 days of the month, it's always a long line, so be prepared or either don't go. They have so many varieties of meats: ox tails, pot roast, tbone steaks, pork chops, chicken, chicken wings, chicken wingettes, bacon rind on/off, sausage, turkey legs, sausage, sausage on a stick, links, red links, smoky denmarks, pig feet, and so much more. It's also other grocery items in there, but I mainly go for them meats. Their butchers are really cool and their cashiers are okay. I like the Packing House, so they get 5...

Really 0 stars. This place NEEDs to be shut down pronto. It’s a shame what this place has come to. This place has absolutely went downhill. Dude absolutely disrespected my mother in front of me. Threw meat at her over the counter for no reason at all he didn’t even KNOW the codes to the meat. He was eating behind the counter while serving customers because of where this place is at I held my composure I ain’t tryna get shot lol and just proceeded to the register and let karma have its way with ol’ boy. Where a young lady was also eating not at the meat counter but at the register and told me and my mom to go to her register and she would check us out. Then quickly changed her mind saying she can get you im eating. Where my mother was double charged for the items purchased. Employees NEED better training.
