Stygian Gallery — Attraction in Dallas

Absolutely love this shop and everything about it. I’ve done a total of 4 sessions so far with Tony and everything from booking to getting tattooed was a breeze. Having a good shop manager is very important and Charlie does a fantastic job.

The overall feel and ambiance of the shop is perfect and they keep it spotless. As a collector and lover of art I like to see various forms of art and they have a great display of paintings all around the shop. They make the whole experience extremely comfortable, even though 8 hour sessions can be rough. All the other artists are super friendly and make you feel welcome which is a plus.

Now I’ll talk about Tony a bit. This guy is awesome and is a true artist. The whole process from design to application was easy and Tony is really light handed which helps a ton. As someone who is doing a bodysuit it’s extremely important to have good flow within a piece but also connecting one piece to another, especially with other artists work. Tony did such a damn good job flowing the piece he was doing with an existing piece I had (which was full color so that’s not easy to go with his black and grey work).

I look forward to continuing to add to my leg with Tony and see everyone at the shop again. If you’re looking for a great shop with a lot of super talented artists then this...

The best! Some of the finest tattoo artists are located here, but I wouldn't call it a tattoo shop. They are exactly what they claim to be, an art gallery. I picked up two prints of Tony's work and they're by far the best art I have in my house!

I had a total of 8 appointments here with Tony M. who completed my leg sleeve. Not only is he one of the most professional tattoo artists I've ever met (I've worked in the tattoo industry for about 10 years, so that is saying something!) but his talent is out of this world! As awkward as it can be at times completing a leg sleeve, Tony was very respectful!

I flew from Seattle for each set of appointments and it was more than worth it. Looking forward to getting on Tony's books for my second leg! Being hundred of miles away before meeting Tony and visiting the shop in person I was skeptical. I'm not sure if I would have followed through if it wasn't for my first chat with Charlie the studio manager. Charlie was so helpful and all of my skepticism vanished. He was so professional and helped me through the in's and out's of scheduling while out of state.

When my sleeve was done, I had spent 7 total sessions spanning around 56 hours with Tony Mancia at Stygian Gallery. From my first correspondence with Charlie the shop manager, all the way through the process of getting tattooed, I was always comfortable and all aspects were 100% professional.

With that being said...Tony Mancia is a freaking genius and an insane talent!!! I provided him a general idea of what I wanted, and he created a one of a kind piece of art that I have the absolute privilege of wearing for the rest of my life. Tony is a total pro, always including me in the design process, and ensured I was completely satisfied with every step of the tattoo. I already have multiple projects planned with Tony for the future.
