When I 1st came in on 8/8, I was greeted and treated kindly and placed an order for tablecloths, napkins, etc. as well as a balloon order for my sons wedding rehearsal on 8/10. The morning of the rehearsal it was 105 degrees and I called Diana about my concerns regarding picking up the balloons. I asked if there was a way to place a plastic bag or tablecloth over each of the 3 balloon bouquets for transport and she said she doesn't have anything and expressed her concern that the balloons will already have trouble holding any air due to the heat and she asked what type of vehicle options we had for transport. She felt that the Jeep Grand Cherokee would be the best bet. I told her the groom and his brother would be picking them up and she said she would load them to ensure the best success in transport. The A/C in the vehicle was left running for over an hour by the time they arrived as after the balloon pick up and delivery to the venue they also needed to pick up catering platters for the reception. Unfortunately, the first set of balloons she attempted to leave her building with to load, immediately began popping before we could even take delivery. My sons called me to tell me she was unable to come up with a solution and left. Diana the owner however refused to offer a refund and we didn't receive or take delivery of even 1 balloon. Today, I called and spoke to Diana and I again requested a refund and she refused. I requested as a solution to offer me store credit for the unreceived merchandise as it was my desire not to file a credit card dispute over $30 in balloons and to come to a reasonable and fair solution. She was very argumentative but after I repeatedly requested she allow me to finish talking, she reluctantly said she would allow me to receive store credit. I thanked her and advised I would be offering her favorable reviews on social media, Yelp, and my own word of mouth. Unfortunately, she backed out of the agreement and sent a text message to advise as such (attached). While The Partys Here offers a friendly environment and willingness to help with the planning of a special day, it's the true character of a business owner and model, when they refuse to offer any reasonable solution after they receive your money. Be wary of patronizing this business and instead offer your money to other local options like Party 101 located up the street. I replied to her backing out of the agreement with the following. "That's unfortunate. Successful small businesses thrive on reputation and customer service. Your unwillingness to offer any compromise over $30 balloons will definitely show our community that there are other options to consider when shopping locally. I offered to take store credit and even asked you if you had your own idea for a fair resolution. To accept my offer, then back out of the agreement, makes your choices and business ethics even more deplorable. Very poor decision on your part not to offer any solution."

FUTURE CUSTOMERS: PLEASE TAKE HEED OF OUR EXPERIENCE OR LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS IF CHOOSING TO DO BUSINESS WITH DIANA AND HER PARTY SUPPLY STORE....clearly there are better options. Regardless that her store options are limited and dramatically overpriced for what you can get at $Tree or even Michael's, we always try and keep our business local wherever possible. While we should all try and do the same for our community, if a local business owners ego and poor customer service skills wont offer a solution to a simple $30 balloon order that couldn't be received through any fault of my own and after a call before arrival to address concerns, I'm comfortable knowing that my money should be...

Please do your research before going here. It is cool in a pinch if no where else is open or you can't make it to the valley, however I feel like extremely ripped off after I saw the same exact balloons that I paid $12+ for each here at walmart for $5 and Amazon for $5.99. I understand business and marketing things up a little, but marking a balloon up $6-8 is just not right. Didn't have much money at the moment, but wanted to get my daughter the 1 & 6 for her 16th birthday. Paid $27 with tax for 2 balloons. Then they tried to charge me $1.99 extra for the weight. At least give your customers a small weight so these expensive balloons...

I was desperately looking for a balloon shop in Coeur d’Alene. Being that I live in California and my girl lives in Coeur d’Alene it was a bit difficult. I don’t know the area. Let me tell you how easy The owner and their staff make it for me to get balloons out for her birthday and Valentine day. Not to mention they’re perfect eye for What I wanted.
