Finucane Park — Attraction in Hayden

It's a nice park, but speaking strictly of the softball fields: Why would a local government, with what has to be a booming tax-base, allow inches of flour-fine silt on top of a rock-hard base to define a chosen community investment in youth and adult recreation? The fields were built for softball players and their parents and fans, but they find the field conditions miserable. Parking is a nightmare for a scheduled venue for softball tournaments! Police were happy to give out tickets, although no signs are posted for where / what is acceptable parking.
