I've been in town for almost two weeks and the whole time I've been trying to get to this store. Can I just say that it was absolutely worth the wait, and worth clearing the time from my schedule to visit! I've spent 3 decades inside comics and games shops, and walking in you can tell this is one of the special ones! (And no, it wasn't just because my favorite Fugazi songs came on over their stereo, but it didn't hurt!) Walking in I was immediately (and warmly) greeted by their staff, perhaps because I was conspicuously taking photos of their shop front. I wanted a pic for the eventual review, and I actually really dig their signage. I had to take a moment before getting overwhelmed by all the awesome stuff they had. While not being a huge wrestling fan, my youngest kiddo LOVES wrestling action figures, and they had an insane selection (so I had to pick one up for him). But when it comes to action figures, it didn't stop at WWE. Pick an IP and chances are they've got the related toys, both classic and modern eras. Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Transformers, there's not enough room to keep listing it, but check them out if you don't believe me. Then there's the comic selection. I've never seen a better set-up for organizing back issues. It was an intuitive system, rows of 3 shelf boxes with comics alphabetized horizontally by Marvel, DC, and Other, with some overflow boxes nearby. Very easy to navigate, but also easy to find that they didn't have that one obscure book I was looking for, which I won't name cuz I'm a BIG nerd. Fine I was looking for vintage Magic the Gathering comics, but I won't hold my weird taste against anyone. I still found plenty of other stuff to buy, no worries. All in All Nick's gets all five stars for their customer service, selection, and organization and I hope I can make it back again soon!

Went to Nick’s on my 40th birthday memory lane tour and was pretty amazed with the look of the store. Got to meet the owner briefly, had previously met him at the Old School Comic Show in Concord NH Last year where he gave me and my sons a few great deals on some action figures and legos. The store was fresh looking as they just moved in recently and they have this great corner section that is perfect for live auctions, video podcasts, reviews, etc... They have a great rewards program that people should sign up for; $10 off for your birthday and a free $3-5 back issue. They have a good selection of comics and collectibles, but expect to pay around the same as eBay on most. They do have a small selection of gi Joes and vehicles but most are loose and some have cracked elbows along with missing parts, but still charging the same price as if they were complete. My only complaint... I was able to score a marvel Legends Daken for $20 and a couple of comics to complete my collection and only ended up spending $20 so it was definitely a great experience and would like to go back and hang out, talk toys and customs.

I stopped by here on a whim as I was searching for a good local source of accessories for my D&D campaign I am running. The owner, Nick, was behind the register when I walked in and was extremely nice and helpful as he showed me where the miniatures I needed were located. The selection of D&D minis was awesome and priced better than anything I could find online. Nick was also open to suggestions for additional D&D items I would like to see in the store and actually started a list for items to order for future customers. Overall I had an excellent experience at Nick's Comic Strip and am going to highly recommend this store as the go to place in the area for my fellow campaign members and comic book fans alike!

Had some great encounters with this store the last couple of weekends, ended up finding some amazing items for my needs. The collection of diecast alone is great. Although this time I had a rough encounter with Nick. I was taking the chance of walking in with my items to possibly sell/trade. I was very aware that walk-ins are strictly not of interest to Nick anymore as there has been previous conflict with past seller walk-ins so I took a chance on that. The people that work there are extremely presentable and overall easy to chat with as intended… Although when I met Nick at first he seemed like a good business owner but when I took my chance to talk briefly he really just cut me short and didn’t allow me to speak my needs. This is falling into what I am trying to define as horrible customer appreciation from Nick. I understand at the end of the day you need to run your business but that is not how you treat customers no matter the first encounter. I also understand rules and procedures for a store but when a customer walks in and asks a worker if I can bring in my items to sell, and says yes, then get told the complete opposite the other 20 minutes of being in there, I’d rather someone tell me, "sorry Nick doesn't have time" or "Nick doesn’t allow walk-ins anymore" Instead I get Nick to come out anyways… and short mouths me with an attitude and disrespect as I was just here to waste time. I was just hoping to get along with Nick but as soon as we started talking I got sick of him right away with his responses as they were unprofessional and quite very off topic answers that I didn’t care to hear. He’s got three A’s on his reputation: An Arrogant Asshole.

To respond to that, Nick, you made it unsure of what I wanted, you made the situation very uncomfortable and you also have nothing good to say, considering all of your other 1 Star reviews, I feel I’m still in the right here.

And if I do plan on coming in again I only wish to buy what I come in for and not get mistreated, I enjoy your store but that situation added a lot of doubt for me to ever talk to you again.

It obviously doesn’t matter what I say at this point, but if I choose to come in that’s still my choice, regardless if I leave a 1 star review, my opinion only reflects on you and...

Me and my girl moved up from Tennessee, you guys had a batman who laughs statue she really wanted but we didn't have the money for it. They let us put what we could afford down on the statue and then come back to pick it up when we got paid in 2 weeks! We were so happy and thankful, we left very happy.

Then we came in today to pick up her statue and you had figures that she wanted as well, pricing was so reasonable and you went out of your way to help her find the full set.

I want to make note here that both of the owners both times went out of their way to help both me and her and are always so respectful and kind and so knowledgeable. We feel so welcome and cared for and about every time.

So after we had found everything we wanted and were treated like a fellow family member, my girl found a pin she had been looking for, for quite s few years now but never had the money for. The owner gave it to us as a gift, honestly made both of us cry in the car we were so thankful and so happy and have never had any buisness or people at a buisness treat is this way. Not ever and we are both in our 30s. We can't ever thank you guys enough and you made both mine and her day and just thank you.

We are forever customers and everyone needs to go to Nick's comic strip! We love them, they love everyone and it is a wonderful place to shop and so much great inventory, great prices, plud what they don't have they can help find. They are worth your time and hard...
