St Therese has been a part of my life since I was very young.So I was very excited to discover her shrine many years ago and I have been coming to the shrine ever since I live out of state so it is not a regular visit. Imagine my surprise when I brought my family there and discovered this incredible shrine. St Therese said she would send a shower of roses after she died. This shrine is a wonderful way to do just that. Every member of my family shared their experience at the shrine. Each one felt her presence and knew they had been blessed. The museum was great, but the newly built chaple is so sad. No real altar. No kneelers. Tabernacle is in a separate room from the chapel area. It's too modern for my taste. Clean and air conditioning is a plus. The gift store could sell replica ceramic holy water fountains like the one St. Teresa had in her room wall as a kid or a brass one like she had as a nun. The gift store could learn from the shrine of St. John's passion of Christ in Indiana, where they sell things that people actually want to buy.
