The waitress (for the entire restaurant during lunch) was nice and offered quick service. 3 steak tacos for $10 was priced well. The steak portion was small and too much diced onion. Condiment should compliment meat. The door was open and it was a windy day, there were flies coming in and out; I purposely asked to eat inside so that I wouldnโ€™t have to deal with outdoor elements.. every patron had their jackets on while eating. A big sign that itโ€™s chilly indoors due to the open door. I asked the waitress to see if the owner would let her close the door and he simply said no. No reason. Letโ€™s just say by the time I stared eating my 2nd taco, the food was cold. I had no desire to sit there any longer or order a cold drink by then... not sure what the purpose or the door being open. They had an outdoor tent with tables, but there was no one sitting outside there; itโ€™s too cold. 1st and last time...

The food was good and the fajitas where awesome, staff is friendly and inviting. The reason I gave it a Star is because the pricing compared to quantity is off. We had ordered the carne asada and surprised by the portion size. Looked like a meal for a 6 year old plus we asked for extra onion knob and got charged for only one knob for 1.29 I guess the meal comes with 2 tiny onion knobs. The meat was cooked to perfection but was portioned for like 2 tacos. The flan was excellent tho. Sad to know we spend 54$ and got charged 6$ more total was 60 on a 2 person meal that left us hungry. I guess we where better off going to our favorite seafood joint in chicago for the less the price and still...

The late great Inez Andrews sang... "I've been through the storm and the rain... but I made it" Tonight we did just that..We took the drive to the City of Darien, Illinois and it was well worth it... When I tell you everything about this place was AMAZING it was just that... The tacos were cooked to order and temperature.. That green sauce on the Carne Asada almost took me out but like Inez.....I MADE IT... They definitely get a 5 ๐ŸŒฎ ๐ŸŒฎ ๐ŸŒฎ ๐ŸŒฎ ๐ŸŒฎ out of 5. The beverages were just as good and made fresh. We have been venturing outside of Cook County lately. We were looking for a taco spot and stumbled across Al Chile. I was iffy at first, Iโ€™m picky with my tacos. I ordered steak tacos, they were pretty good! The meat was well seasoned, the green salsa gave it an extra delicious touch. My husband ordered shrimp tacos and he really liked them as well. My daughters ordered a steak quesadilla and they really enjoyed their meal. (Mind you, they are picky eaters.) The only downer for me was the guacamole, it was very bland. Margarita was ok could of been better. Other then that the restaurant is nice and clean, waitress was nice. I would definitely go back.

Good food and great service. I had the Chilaquiles with skirt steak, and they were tasty, not exactly authentic, but still good. Their menu is very limited, catering more towards the Anglo community instead of the Mexican community. For instance, they don't have Menudo, Pozole, carnitas, caldo de Res, caldo de pollo, lengua, or carne al pastor. They have a decent selection of beers, good margaritas, and some wine. They also recently added a small outdoor dining area for a better summer dining experience.
