The atmosphere is great and staff is very friendly/helpful! As an added bonus, they're closer to me than any other dispensary! The reason for only 2 stars is because of the fact that, despite being so easy for me to get to, I can't use them for anything right now. They seem to focus primarily on much more expensive items, and their pricing is also a little higher on most items compared to nearby dispensaries. This is a double negative because it means a much smaller selection of fair and low priced items, with the added problem being that those lower priced items are still a couple dollars MORE than the identical items at nearby dispensaries. This same pattern happens regardless of if I am searching for Flower, Pre-Rolls, Concentrates, etc... it seems to be across the board.
Also, no grams of flower? At least if you carried grams of flower, we could mix it up and get some variety. If you do get grams, try to keep in mind a gram should be as close to $10 as possible unless there's something very special about it. Please don't bring in grams of flower if they're going to be $20+ for 1 gram.
All in all, I still have high hopes for High Haven, because it's a new operation. Perhaps they will see this feedback/review and adjust accordingly. Remember, guys... we can easily look up online to see if nearby dispensaries have the same products at a better deal, and so far they (the competitors nearby) always have better deals. As we speak, the lowest price on an 8th of Flower at High Haven is $35, but I can easily grab an 8th of Flower right now at one of the nearby competitors for around $22. Most of the smokers I know in the area will be very aware of this, and will seek out the better deal even if it means driving a few extra minutes. High Haven could be losing a lot of potential nearby customers over this because I know I am not the only one that shops around before making my selection.
If management reads this, please don't focus so heavily on higher priced items. You are right in my neighborhood and easier for me to get to than any other dispensary, so you guys SHOULD be getting 100% of my business. It would be very easy to make this happen. :)
Please don't take any of this in a negative way, but rather take it as advice that could help build your brand in this area. I hope to soon be able to count on you guys for good deals on grams of flower, good deals on 8th (starting price should be a lot lower than $35, and a larger variety at the lowest price points), and if possible some good deals on pre-roll singles (1g pre-rolls much lower than $20, $35, etc). It's fine to carry the higher priced stuff, but please don't have the higher priced stuff be such a huge majority. If I were willing to spend $25 - $35+ on just one pre-roll right now, I'd have a much larger selection at your store than if I were only willing to spend $10 - $15 on a pre-roll.

We asked 4 different times on if the new customer discount will be applied before the 30% off or after, she did not understand so when I asked what will the price be at checkout she quoted $53. When Phillip arrived they quoted him at $69, when he couldn't figure out why he was misquoted, Ms Jackson & the front lady told me that the price it is what it is, even though i explained Phillip was misquoted they said that’s not their fault & that she works at the dispensary so she knows what she is talking about. The front door lady was rude saying she would get me banned because I wanted a manager. Once I waited for the manager he told me to wait, while I was waiting the security woman lied and said that it's against the law to stand by the front door if I wasn't buying anything even though the manager told me to wait. The two ladies continued to insult me by saying maybe if you had more money this would've never happened. I continue to explain the purchase wasn't mine and it was my cousins first time. I shop here on the regular and I've never been treated this way. After speaking to Nick in person & sending him this on 08/18/25 he did not apologize after acknowledging he read my email & he stated what did I want him to do about it, I was a regular here and after this I won’t be coming back!!! After sending a email to Hunter to the email that Nick provided to escalate my complaint he gave me an invalid email to send my concerns. Let me tell you why this is one of my new favorite places. So I walk in and I’m greeted by the sweetest man behind the convenience-store-looking counter. After he buzzes me in, I walk through a fridge door to enter the part of the store where the products are sold, and it. looks. classy! Like, my partner and I were thinking it looks like it should be in Chicago so why is it in Willowbrook haha.
So I go to look at products, and I’m helped by the kindest staff who talk to me like a person rather than as a customer. I’m usually quite anxious, so this is a HUGE deal for me. And when I say talk to me like a person, it’s not like just a nicer version of customer service. Talking to them felt as chill as talking to a friend.
Kevin is really cool, he took the time to listen to my problems after I accidentally slipped a real answer to his “how are you?” He also connected with me over how close our birthdays are to each other. And on top of that, he’s good at giving recommendations. I appreciate you dude!
Tristan is so easy to talk to! He asked me about a Duolingo pin I had on my hat and we talked about it, which imo is much more satisfying than watching the clerk fill the bag silently. Oh and he also gave me stickers!...
