I've only been to this shopping area to visit J Bar at one time and Fleet Feet during another. It's an area that for most of my time in the Quad Cities has been an empty field with no other use than to ignore as I drove past towards the Sam's Club if heading south or the Super Target if heading north along Elmore Avenue.
It appears that the area has been developed since 2014, however, and now contains such stores as those previously mentioned in addition to a Holiday Inn, a Great Northern Tool Co, Kirkland's Home, DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse, and a Lane Bryant. This isn't an exhaustive list of places, but hits the high notes.
I should mention the website for Elmore Marketplace mentions they are "the retail space is anchored by the area's only DSW". This is not completely accurate, as the HyVee on Devils Glen and Middle Roads contains a DSW outlet within their walls on the east end of the store. This DSW does look much bigger, however - also, I don't typically go to the grocery store expecting to shop for or purchase shoes, nor have I ever stopped to look at the DSW's offerings at this HyVee. I don't know what point I'm exactly making right now...
Both times I've visited the general area, I've been able to easily find parking. The area is always generally clean in appearance and easy to both navigate into and out of via the entrances/exits along Elmore Avenue. On the whole, I hope the area continues to develop and enjoy success as it continues to establish itself...
Read moreI have shopped at Carter's and loved it and the clerks r very helpful. Went to shoe store it's nice but not excited about it. Charming Charlie's is really bad. I bought a purse in sale and decided I didn't like it so took it back. It evidently had been rung in wrong and so they gave me more money! I showed the receipt and they said they didn't know how to fix it and just take it. I came home and called and spoke to either mgr or asst and told them. They said they didn't know how to correct it and appreciated my honesty but they couldn't do anything. I took the money back to them to do what they had to do and the mgr never came out and apologized or said thank u! I don't shop there and wont go back. Hopefully they fixed the register so it refunds what's on...

There are so many wonderful treasures for your house here and reasonable prices too! There were a few items that seemed a little high but all and all I loved this store and can't wait to...
