DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse — Local services in Davenport

We found a shoe my wife had been looking for. But underneath the display was a different shoe and we couldn't even find the other display shoe. We couldn't find an employee to help us... or one who'd lift their nose from a screen they seemed so involved in. The young ladies at the register did not seem interested in helping us. We couldn't even get a straight answer. I don't know...? Well, please, find out. She couldn't even look up from her screen to see that it was a ladies shoe! She had to ask if this obvious woman's shoe was men's or women's? I found a some shoes that I had wanted so thank you to lady who interrupted our conversation to ring me up and threw my receipt in the box. No bag? No have a nice day? No thanks for shopping here? Might as well do away with the employees and put in self checkout. I could've been more helpful to myself. Maybe, maybe it was just an off day for everyone or they didn't realize? I went into DSW in Davenport on Elmore Ave and the customer service was poor! Not one time while I was there did anyone say hi, how are, welcome to DSW, do you need any assistance, or anything. I had several shoes in my arms and no one offered a helping hand or shopping bag (which I forgot they had). Then to top it all off I purchased 5 pairs of shoes and the cashier ask me do I want them in a bag? I guess I had the option to carry them out in my arms the way I was carrying them in the store. I got home and one of the pair of shoes has a lock on it so now I have to inconvenience myself and go back to...

I spent an hour in the store searching for a pair of sandals for family photos. I found a pair that really like that were cleary marked with a big red sign 27.99. When brought to the register they rang up 49.99. I told the cashier they are 27.99 and showed her the are with the shoes so she could see herself. She then explained that it was a mistake on their end and they are not on sale. She also said that sometimes that happens that they put the wrong sale ticket on the wrong shoe. Are you kidding me? I should have been offered the sale price as marked.I dont think i will be back to that...
