Contacted this place to replace a simple cracked glass back plate on a Samsung Note 8... Guy was doing repairs out of home due to covid shutdowns... Upon arriving there the woman checked the rear and front facing camera to make sure they were in working order... Which the were... Had us sign a tablet screen without reading any repair agreement... Signed left phone with guy for hour... Picked back up and was satisfied with the new back... Phone seemed in working order... Forward a couple days and went to use the camera and the rear camera opens but is blurry as if something like dust or similar is causing lens to stay out of focus... So back camera is currently unusable due to this... Contacted guy to see about fixing what I assume is a simple fix of reopen and wipe down to remove whatever is causing it... Guy then throws at us well that's not covered under our repair agreement which he then messages it to us... Mind you this is the first time we are seeing said agreement... But I explained it was probably something simple like dust or tape... And he then said yes I will waive the diagnostic fee and you can bring it back in... But if anything is wrong you will be charged for repairs... Well I said don't repair until contacting us first but that's fine... Agreed on the weekend since my husband is an essential worker and has zero ability to get in during weekday hours... Guy then messages to cancel at the last minute... So strongly suggest people find a more reputable company/place to go through for service on phone... If you must go through them... Check every working aspect of your phone before leaving or you may be screw out of money too...
Read moreIf you need a phone screen repair, I recommend going to Batteries + Bulbs instead (if you're in Davenport they're just right down the road next to Chucky Cheese).
I shattered the screen on my S10+ and Yoshi's did NOT have my screen in stock (said it would take 3-5 business days just to get). There was only 1 person working when I went in and he seemed annoyed that I was there. Online it said that I could get it repaired for $200 but he quoted me over $350 in store.
I went to Batteries + Bulbs and got it repaired THAT day in just over an hour. Batteries + Bulbs was cheaper and friendlier than Yoshi's.
Response to Owner: Please see this screen shot taken from your website which states "Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus LCD Repair" for $200. I added another photo too. The whole website states LCD repair.
2nd Response to Owner: That is extremely misleading. The initial page states "LCD Repair $200"... Hiding the fact (until you click on it) that it is actually $350. No thank you, there is nothing else you can do to "better my experience".
Anyone still reading this review, like I said: GO TO BATTERIES + BULBS if you need a screen repair. Competitively priced and the repair usually gets done same day in only...
Read moreMy phone screen had a small crack in it and I took it to them to get it fixed. Well after they “fixed” it my screen had weird little spots all over it and it would freeze a lot of time I would have to do a hard reset and even then I would have to do it 2 or 3 times in a row. Well I got tired of it and took it to Brady Mart mobile repair and they said the guy at Yoshis Tronic qc put in a bad screen. Then I went back to get my phone and then they told me the guy at Yoshis tronics ended up breaking the part that connects my home button to my phone, it’s not like I’m tech savvy so I didn’t know, but because of Yohis tronics did Brady Mart couldn’t reconnect my home button to my phone. So now I don’t have a working home button. Don’t go to them because the guy should have known the screen was bad, Brady Mart mobile repair knew just looking at it, and he effed up the inside of my phone, so if you want your phone to work well after a new screen definitely avoid...
