Broward College — Attraction in Davie

Broward College has been the most disappointing educational experience I have ever encountered. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. I relocated from Georgia with the goal of furthering my education and specifically contacted Broward College beforehand to confirm they offered the Dental Hygiene program I intended to pursue. Based on the information provided by a Broward College employee, I enrolled. Only after signing up for classes did I discover that the information I had been given was incorrect. At no point was I informed that my Dental Assistant certificate had to be issued within the past two years to qualify.

This revelation came after I had already paid tuition, completed the lengthy residency verification process, and gone through financial aid approval. I was left feeling misled, frustrated, and disappointed.

In 2025, I decided to switch programs and registered for a summer course. I signed up on the final day for course withdrawals. However, when I arrived on the scheduled class date, I was informed that the professor had already dropped me from the course. I never had the opportunity to attend a single class after signing up.

I submitted a petition for a refund, but Broward College denied it, retaining my payment despite the fact that I was never able to attend due to no fault of my own. This experience has led me to conclude that the institution operates with a troubling lack of transparency, accountability, and student consideration.

I strongly caution prospective students to consider other institutions before enrolling at Broward College, as my experience has been marked by misinformation, poor communication, and policies that do not reflect fairness...

no one at the testing center is answering their phones during business hours, the manager never calls back even after I have left them messages. Highly inconvenient and a disservice to students, I have missed my graduation date...

Two times had worst experience with the admissions and management. They are not welcoming and helpful at all. Even paid application fee two times which never...
