Fair Lane, Home of Clara and Henry Ford

I was here on Sunday with my fiance and best friend taking photos for my engagement. We drove an hour, seeing that the scenery is beautiful and we wanted just a few photos. I wore a dress, he wore jeans and a shirt. We took photos with an iphone, no props. The grounds keeper, cane up to us and told us she did not care that we had an iphone and that we need to leave, we cant take photos, as it is an event photoshoot and that they will be having a wedding shoot there too. We saw this wedding shoot and they had a professional photographer, and lighting props. We had my best friend taking a few photos with her iphone. Not the same, nor did I think her attitude was nice at all about it. She told us we can go across the street and into the field and take pics as it wasnt their property, there isnt anything there but a white house, a fence, some tres, and the parking lot. So what can we do? We went across, took a few photos on the grass, realized they look ridiculous with the fence in the back and parking, so we went to this big beautiful tree. She came up to us after we stepped inside of it just to get a few nice ones. She told us we cant be there, and we had to leave. She just kept following us and harassing us. Honestly such a terrible place to visit, as the groundskeepers have no idea how to differentiate a professional photoshoot, and just 3 people taking a few photos. She was so rude about it, and she made our experience terrible as we had no where to go after that. Would not recommended coming here as you will get stalked by rude old ladies who want to ruin your day as much as they can.
