I wasn't sure about the menu options but then I found the Hobo Lunch. I had the turkey sandwich and it was good. It came with apple sauce, gold fish crackers, chocolate chip cookie and either milk or fountain drink. The fountain drinks are locally made. The root beer was yummy. I like the cola flavor but I also don't drink mainstream sodas.

A great option for a quick meal. We had the BBQ pork potato with a slice of blueberry pie and enjoyed it. Another person said the Mac and Cheese is good. I wanted to try the Cherry chicken salad but didn't have room for it.

Fried chicken was tasty, the Chicken Pot Pie Potato was flavorful and the Hobo lunch in the bandanna was fun for the kids. Definitely a great stop if you are looking for options.

Other than being a bit overpriced, the place is a good stop for if you want a quick bite. A lot of the food items are local to the state or produced from the working farm. Some items are made using very historic recipes, like their Macaroni and Cheese, where they use an 1800's recipe.

Handicapped seating and access is all over the village, and this place has no shortage of access either. With wheelchair access throughout the building, including handicapped stalls in the restrooms and sutably spaced out tables, in addition to the powered handicapped accessable doors Elderly and wheelchair-bound persons should have little to no issues with access getting and eating here.

For mothers with newborns, there is a lactation pod by the Womens restrooms, which should be open for use. Ask village staff to see if it is...

Food was good. Set up like a cafeteria where you just get some stuff thrown on your tray and pay at the end. Problem was there were about 150 people getting food and one person checking everyone out. Unfortunately we had to wait 20 minutes just to cash out after getting food. Other than that food was good staff, tables were mostly clean. Maybe we just came in on a day when they didn't have enough cashiers. Some the pop was not working in the machines and the soda drink area was kind of dirty. Also it's kind of weird that they don't have trash can so you can throw away your own food. Everyone seemed confused about just leaving their trays and plates on the table and waiting for someone to come...

If you're looking for an affordable option with good food and an easy in and out with kids while at Greenfield Village, this is your place! My husband and I both had the pulled pork baked potatoes. They were big and a lot of food for the price (May 2023 they were just under $11). My kids had macaroni and cheese that they split and a fruit cup. They both enjoyed it and it was enough for both of them (granted my youngest is a year old and doesn't eat a ton). We would definitely choose this again over the food trucks or the other restaurant (it looked neat but was a sit down style and prices were...
