Mike's Merchandise — Attraction in Decatur

Our Mike's merchandise "USE TO BE" a place of variety, fair pricing, and friendly staff; but that has all changed. They still supply a wide variety, but the prices are ridiculous now. Considering they get their merchandise (many times damaged or past expiration.) 2nd hand from stores that have gone out of business, the prices should be QUITE A BIT lower. Most things I've found are priced compared to "NEW ITEMS" purchased at local "retailers", yet far from. :'( Because of this I have started just going to (the devil ;P ) Walmart. Most stuff is damaged and prices are actually crazy. Amazon has new stuff many times lower prices. I have been going to mikes for many years and used to walk out with stuff i didn’t even need because of the great price sometimes spending hundreds of dollars. Lately i rarely buy anything.
