I ordered from the Decatur restaurant on 7/7/2018. I had a $52 and was told it would be delivered in an hour. It did not arrive so 1hr 20min later, I called back. The girl who answered the phone was extremely rude and said I needed to talk to the manager. The manager got on the phone and apologized. She told me that when I placed the order that She had several orders to be cooked before mine. She assured me that my food had went out the door about 5minutes ago and she also said it had only been off the grill about 20 minutes before this so it would be fresh. My food did not arrive until 50 minutes later. I tried several times to call store but line was busy. When driver arrived, I told him the food was cold and he needed to call the manager bc I could not get thru. He gave me the drivers # and told me to call bc he would not. I finally got thru and the girl who answered phone was rude when I asked for the manager. The manager said she was really overwhelmed and all she could do was remake the food. I told her that i dud not have 2 more hours to wait. She then proceeded to hang up on me bc i was mad and had yelled at her. The driver stood inside my door texting on his phone while i was on phone with the manager. Then he said oh she voided the order and just left. I called the drivers line back and after her being very rude to me, she said she was putting a credit in the book for a free replacement meal of exactly what I ordered and then she slammed the phone down on me again. Then, about an hour later, I get a personal text on my cell phone from the manager telling me she is talkung to the owner and having me banned from ordering so she hopes I enjoy my free food. I'm not sure but since i never gave her permission to text me and threaten me, I am sure that this was not the way to handle a customer. This was the worst experience that I have ever had before. There is no customer service at this location. I worked for the owner here years ago and this type of behavior was not tolerated. I'm not sure what happened over the years but this store has really lost touch with customer service. I'm not sure if I am more upset about how I was treated or about how the manager threatened me. Read moreBeen a long while since I've had some steak out. This evening I revisited the Decatur 6th Ave location. I am happy to say my expirence was much better. I remeberd the last time having issues with the website. It was a much smoother user friendly ordering expirence. I was able to browse and pick what I needed easily and in no time at all i had ordered food.. for the first time ever... I couldn't pay for it on the site.. what? I was also charged a convince fee for ordering on the site and then another 3% fee for using my debit card which is normal but I would have appreciated more transparency by alowing me to see that charge reflected in my order online and pay online streamlining the online order process. When I arrived I was greated and every one was very friendly. I do not remember his name but he is the one who was taking money and preparing bags to go out, he was on top of his game. When I see someone so dedicated it makes me smile. He organized silverware for each order and layed out each order with its proper cold items waiting for him to come along and obliterate the job in mere seconds. Still the orders they were filling kept coming in. Because of this I did have an already expected wait. I was there on a Friday night its busy. 😳 so, I waited and chatted with other customers and then another employee came and let me know I could go to my car she told me she'd bring it out but I went in to get it. Our food was delicious we both had 10 oz steak tips rare add shrimp, with loaded baked potatoes and grilled veggies. Read morePlaced a phone order for a sirloin chef salad pickup around 630pm tonight (Wednesday). Lady on the line said it would be ready for pickup in about 15 minutes. Drove over with my husband (we live about 10 minutes away) and got there about 15-20 minutes after placing the order. Husband went in to pickup food and said the lady told him it wasn’t ready. He came back out and sat in the car for about 10 minutes before we decided to run to the store across the street and come back. Came back and he still had to wait a few minutes to pickup. Drove all the way home and got in the house ready to eat and realized the restaurant gave me a salad and no steak. I called the restaurant on my way back up there and explained that I had no steak and the lady was like “oh...it’s on the counter.” Told her I was in route to pickup. Got back to the store and a man asked me if I was there for pickup and before I could finish my sentence he interrupted and said “oh yeah you had the sirloin tips.” He ran to the back and grabbed them and gave me an insincere “sorry about that.” So after all of that I have driven to the restaurant and back twice and waited over an hour for an order that I was told would take 15 minutes.
