I went in the store today to sell some pokémon cards and the guy at the counter sorted through my cards, and separated the ones he was interested in He put them out on the price board and add it all up gave me a total I thought that a few of the cards were in the wrong spot didn't say nothing about it though just said just grabbed a couple and started looking them up on TCG player app just a for a reference and I got to one card and it was well below the value not even it was a very small percentage of the value I know they got to make a profit but you know not that much and I asked him about it and he said well this is a card that we have several of so we don't really need it that's my offer on it I said okay I understand that I think I'm going to hold on to that one though He said okay and then I had looked up maybe four cards just couple minutes and I started to look up another one and he said you know what I think I'll pass on all of them and I asked him I said why because I'm looking up some of my cards before I sell them to you to make sure that I'm getting a fair shake and he said with a transaction this small I don't have time for it there's there's nobody else in the store except for just maybe a minute before that two guys had walked in together and that's it and me but he says I ain't got time to stand here and watch you I got other customers okay I understand that You don't have to stand here and watch me all I'm doing is looking up a couple of cards You know what is here and he was just really super rude and my suggestion to everyone is to not go to his store even if you have to go all the way to Toledo but you don't there's a store in Bryan that the guy's really fair in there And I guarantee you he won't talk to...
Read moreHands down the best store I've been to for Magic the Gathering. Their singles selection surpasses that of even the big name well known stores. All of their singles are sorted and I have a hard time finding a card they don't have for sale. So you don't have to hunt through a box of chaff to find the card you are looking for, all you have to do is ask and they will pull it from their inventory for you.
I have saved so much money with them not having to pay for shipping from 15 different sellers to get all the cards I need. I cannot count the times I have walked into Card and Board with a deck list and walked out with every card I needed. Not to mention their sealed product selection is the best I've seen. I travel a lot for work so I've been to many other stores. I still recommend Card and Board...
Read moreIf you like to play DnD, MtG, or even Pokémon then they've got you covered. Their prices for card boosters are fair, the staff is tons of fun, and they host a bunch of free events every week to play with the crowd.
Speaking of, the crowd has a little bit of everything. You've got a couple tryhards for the competitive types, some older and returning players, and even kids that play and learn alongside them.
But you've also got some really chill people that will help you build a deck you can have fun playing or learning with! No matter who is there that night, they always make it fun to be at Card and Board.
You can get started in any of the MtG formats for $50 including protective card sleeves and boxes, and participating gets you some free cards too. If you made it this far, I'll probably see...
