Laughlin Heritage Foundation Museum — Attraction in Del Rio

My husband & I are travelling for 6 months in the U.S. From Montreal, Canada and have visited many Museums and tourist sights and the Laughlin Heritage Foundation Museum, Del Rio TX stands out as one of our favourites. We were amazed at the huge contribution Del Rio and Laughlin AFB made to further our country’s air defense. I’d never even seen declassified documents before! Very cool how the people involved and their relatives have brought items to donate to the museum.

Not that impressive looking when you first walk in, but it has a lot of great exhibits and information. Lot's of declassified documents and artifacts. I had no idea the U2 even flew out of Del Rio. I learned a lot about the area and the different aircraft that fly out of Laughlin.
