Shane’s Whiskey and Bourbon House — Restaurant in Del Rio

Visited my hometown to celebrate my 30th birthday with a group of 8 friends. We came to this bar and unfortunately did not feel welcomed. The doorman put on a hard front and seemed bothered by us. He did not give the same treatment to other patrons. The bartenders stared at one friend who walked up and only helped her after another bartender asked if they wanted to serve her. An employee in a manager shirt pointed at our table while another table openly talked to him about us. That same table stared at us throughout our time there. Just such a strange vibe. Being from the big city….my first time at Shane’s Whiskey Bar I felt comfortable and came across a few friends… service was great and the atmosphere was just where my heart is …. best bar in Del Rio …. I’ve been back 4 times and each time has been better met Shane his wife and many new friends…. I guess there’s no reason to stop ….I’ll have another...

I enjoy this bar every time I have gone there and will continue to do so.
