S Nail Lounge — Attraction in Delhi Charter Township

It's been a couple months since my visit, but I was browsing nail salons in the area and noticed that I had never written a review of this place. I had read the great reviews online so I had really high hopes when I came in. I made an appointment before hand and got there a couple minutes early. I ended up having to wait like 30 mins for a nail tech to finish someone else (which irked me, but I didn't have anywhere else to be that day and there was wifi, so not a huge deal). I asked for a squoval shape which confused the nail tech so I ended up pulling up a photo of the shape. She said she understood and continued to do my nails. This was my initial gel set and it took her only half an hour to put them on, file them, and paint them. If you've ever had gel/acrylics, you know that it usually takes AT LEAST an hour if not more. When I left the salon, my nails were not the shape I wanted (nor even a good shape), they were different lengths, and my cuticles were bleeding really bad. Probably the worst nail salon I've ever been to. I've been to some where they did an "okay" job, but these nails were awful. I will not be back and I always warn people...

They’re rude. Trust me when I say it. I started going in April 2017 to get my nails done for my wedding, and I’ve been putting off the red flags because I was new to the Lansing area and didn’t know where else to go. - The only great encounters I’ve had was with Paul and now he’s gone 😩 So I’ve been getting my nails done by the older lady that now works that. (Susan’s mom maybe.) anywho...super impatient and rude. She’s not the only one. There’s a hidden spirit of rage in them that was so unbearable today that I had to pay and walk out with my shellac undried and no clear coat. My loss right!? And Maybe I failed the test, but I’ll take that up with God. Beautiful shop, ugly hearts...and you can not put talent over character.

I KNOW that they sit and laugh at bad reviews sometimes, but that’s ok too. You never know who you mistreat! “Touch not my anointed...do my prophets no harm.”

Please do not waste...

i came in to get a pedicure and i wanted to get french tips but black instead of white. and he said that he couldn’t do it because the tip of the fake nail was showing and the pink wouldn’t cover it up. i suggested to take the tips off and just do a refill and he continued to go on w the process. with me needing a fill the fake nail and real nail we’re not “one” and it was a lump between the two. i told him and he said he’ll put another coat on top of the nail as if that would cover the lump when it did nothing. i would not recommend, he couldn’t do what i wanted in the first place and then even messed up what i settled for. then when i asked for a refund they said they don’t do them and they would just redo the pedicure but at this point i don’t even want to get them redone because it’s not gonna be what i want. would not recommend. not to mention the paint all over my toes....
