Now let me tell you, this trail is not for the faint of heart. In order to even access the trail you will need to slip into a tight fit between two poles. Bear crawling is likely, particularly when the 0.5" of heavy snow berate the city. Keep in mind extensive equipment is recommended, including some v warm booties and crampons. I would suggest a high quality pick, ropes, ice screws, ice screw clippers, QuickDraws, slings, LOCKING carabiners, a good cordelette and don't forget your belay as well! Please also don't forget to dress appropriately for the massive altitude gain through this trail... You'll definitely want base layers, an insulated midlayer and a shell to top it off. A belay jacket and quality gloves are a must. And please for the love of this sweet dog don't forget a good helmet and headlamp!!
