So...it’s really tough for me to do this but I feel like I need to perform my due diligence for everyone else to warn them about what they are to expect when ordering from this location. First off, I love Papa John’s and have always made them my go-to for national pizza chains. I recently move to the DU area and was excited to see a location (Evans) just a few blocks away. I’m just over a month, I have ordered 3 times from here (1st delivery, 2nd and 3rd carryout). The first time, I placed my order on the app. They showed up on time and the delivery driver was very nice. However, they forgot half of my order. When I questioned the driver about the mistake, he told me I was wrong and that it was all there. I pulled out my phone and showed him the correct order, at which time he apologized for his mistake. He said he would have to back to the store and grab the pizza. I accepted this as reasonable even though the others at my party were not as happy. He returned and left the food on the doorstep. This time, he brought the wrong pizza. I filled out the survey and let them know about the multiple errors. At which time I received an email from the manager for a free pizza. It still didn’t fix the previous experience but it showed that they were trying to do something to make it right. About 3 weeks later I ordered for carryout to avoid the same problems as last time. This time I went in after the order said it was ready for pickup and it still wasn’t ready. I told the person that it was in the middle of the window of pickup time and that the app said my order was ready. The counter person told me that they have requirements and quotas for getting orders out and they always say that it is ready 5 minutes before it is. I asked the counter person if I should show up after the order time window is past just to make sure I don’t have to wait. He said that it would be a good idea. I went home with the correct order and gave them a pass. Tonight, I placed my order and looked at the time window and set my alarm to leave my house 10 minutes after the order window was to expire. I figured 17-20 minutes past my order time would be plenty. I was wrong. I went into the location and saw one individual working the pizza area, while 2 others were off to the side talking and laughing. The person working the pizza area acknowledged me and welcomed me in. A short time later, one of the talkers approached me and asked me about my order. I gave him my name and he turned around to grab it. He then turned around and said that it wasn’t complete yet and that they would need another 10-15 minutes. This enraged me. Not just because of the inconsistency of information across all channels, but because, if I did stick around, I would have door prepared at multiple times. Both of which were not any concern of the person assisting me. The person said “sorry” and I told him to cancel my order. For those of you planning on trying this location out, proceed with caution. You may have similar experiences to my own. I can offer up other alternatives like Domino’s and Anthony’s which are within a couple of blocks of here. Both of which I have never experienced anything negative....

It never shows up after an hour of waiting I check the tracker and it says I still need to wait another 35min for delivery. After another 20 min of waiting I go to check tracker again and without notification my order status via the tracker says canceled. I try calling the store to see what's going on and if my order is going to come or not. I call at least 5 times and they hang up on me every time I call. No answer or voice mail they just pick up and immediately hang up. No email saying it's canceled no call or text. This is joke you need to let someone know their order isn't coming so then can make new arrangements and make sure they aren't being charged for the order. This location is terrible at customer service I regret giving them any business. The company as a whole is going down hill not sure why you would use door dash to deliver food instead of hiring drivers. I've also heard first hand from door dash drivers that if tip is not cash or over 25% they will avoid your order or make sure to take extra time to deliver it.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Was told my pizza would take 50 minutes I was fine with that but it has now been a hour and 20 min and I still haven't gotten my pizza I have called twice and they just keep saying its on the road. SO my pizza has been in a car for 30 minutes now that. I asked for a refund and was denied and told to just...
Read moreDid an online order for pick-up by 12:15pm. Got there at 12:20pm and my order was still hot and delicious. Cheese was crispy and chewy, tomato sauce savory, and even though I ordered thin crust, the crust wasn't burnt or too crunchy. The manager herself came out to greet and personally hand my order over. She was super nice, friendly, and professional.
So why 1 star? They had to close early due to staffing issues. Turns out this isn't the first review to talk about it. I order Papa John's about 1-2 a month, I love these pizzas, but I can't get an order because there are staffing issues. You know what fixes staffing issues? Paying people more. You make the job attractive enough, you'll have your pick of employees, ones who won't quit and are of better quality.
Papa Johns you are losing money because you won't pay people enough. Pay more, get better people, then you can have a location which can be open and...
