I have attended HOUSE since January of this year. I will say it was hard for me to connect, yet that is partly due to my own personal experience, and also not serving for the first 6 months. I wanted to get a full understanding of how the ministry is had. The worship is free in every sense of what freedom in the Lord means. The young adults are on fire for the Lord! When you see that you can be sure God is in this place. I felt a deep sense of acceptance, in a way that includes all humanity. I could clearly discern the integrity of the leadership, and the soundness of the doctrine. The worship glorifies Jesus, honors the Father, and welcomes in Holy Spirit as they minister to Him. I've been thinking a lot about the choice to be at HOUSE. Just tonight, I sensed the Lord speaking to me about what we all need to feel part of a family. He revealed to me that HOUSE is a family, it is in the core of this church. The staff, the worship team, the pastors ( there are 3 Spirit filled and anointed pastors that alternate each weeks services ), the young adults, the women, and men's groups. The Pastors have a desire to disciple, and they have a prayer school, too. I have witnessed an entire row of young men, linking arms, worshiping God, making Jesus cool again, haha. But, that blessed my heart, and it really drove this Church home for me. Overall, HOUSE is a place where the Spirit of the Lord is, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. The unity, love, and rich kindness of Jesus is so felt and organic. Now that I'm serving in Children's church, which I have never had a desire to do before, I see the great lengths they go to in honoring the Lord and His people. The children's ministry is nurtured with the same intentionality as the Pulpit. Everything is bathed in prayer, even the orientation to serve. It's what I need in my life. It's what this world needs, the hurting, the broken, the unseen, and unknowns... It's truly a FAMILY. There motto is : He comes where He's wanted - I am one to vouch, God is present...
Read moreThe best church I have ever been to. Here are a few pillars they focus on. ✨ Ministering to the Heart of Jesus is top Very Solid Biblical sermons Freedom in worship and prayer Anointed Worship & Ministry Teams Weekly Prayer Nights to pray for Colorado Family home groups to fellowship Huge focus on community Sunday Kids ministry in separate area Very welcoming staff Welcoming to find a place to serve Love and honor the Jews around the world and in our community, Gods chosen people. ✨ My wife and I love it and have been attending for over a year. There has been a new head pastor anointed to serve our church but there was in no way any drama for that position change. The old pastor was called to a new state to build another church. The old pastor also still did a couple great sermons even with the new pastor in place. That spoke so much to me.
Growing up the only real reason for pastor changes was due to scandals and drama. I’m pleased to say that this wasn’t one of them. God bless our old and new pastor for transitioning in an honorable Godly way. That showed true character.
The new pastor is very focused on community and a deep dependence on Holy Spirit to grow us closer together in love and grace for one another. That brings peace and joy to my heart. 😌 God is good.
Hope to see you one of these...
Read moreWe wanted to love this church but we were left very disappointed. We attended for about 4 weeks and felt like complete outsiders. Their welcome team and hospitality team needs to do a lot of improving. Even after attending the House Warming we still felt like we were unable to connect. There’s also a lot going on during worship and it’s very distracting. The worship team itself sounds great but there’s a lot of movement, interpretative dancing in the front and up and down the aisle. I fully understand not everyone worships the same but it really is distracting to those who soak and really feel Gods presence during worship. It pulls you away from that moment. You have a house of prayer room during the week and during that time that’s fine to do your dancing and whatever else but it’s not for everyone on Sundays. Sorry to say we will probably not...
