The good stuff.... Nice open space, lots to see and explore. Big open field for the kids or dogs to let some energy out, lots of trails to walk along many many beautiful sights. The bad.... Lots of homeless people hiding in plain sight, watch your step if you are off the trails in case of a forgotten needle. Trash is unfortunately found discarded along the river banks and where the homeless lay their heads. Seems like it was, and maybe could be a nice peaceful spot. There are fences around almost all of the grassy areas. Platte river trail runs right thru. As does the river. New CSU Spur development on the other bank. That being said, the park is adjacent to the Platte river, in a sparsely populated mostly industrial area.
