Took my 2 puppies to be spayed and neutered Monday 8/12/24. Had to come back on Thursday 8/15 because my female dog cannot pass a bowel movement without being in extreme pain. She was having pretty severe diarrhea. Isn't drinking water or eating really & is has been cold and shaking for a week now. Brought them in Thursday and they make it seem on the discharge paper like there is no cost for surgery follow up at their campus if there is complications or concerns. They state they are not responsible for vet costs at any other clinic other then the one they refer you to. So i decided to bring her back here since i was having post surgical concerns, but oh no. they still charge you! Its been a week out from surgery and my dog still isn't drinking water, still having diarrhea & nothing has improved. Their suggestion was to hydrate my dog in clinic Which dissipated within 20minutes as she is very dehydrated & they said to feed her bland diet and probiotics. Cost me 90$ for that visit. after the 400$ i spent initially on the Surgeries. STILL HAVING DIARRHEA AND DEHYDRATION! no follow up call, nothing. I've also had several dogs & different types of animals and I've never been to a clinic where i don't see the actual Veterinarian. i saw a 4th year med student and she seemed either incredibly nervous or uncomfortable in room. So now I'm a week out and have racked up hundred of dollars in vet bills because CSU Spur was no help really post surgery. It was pretty much lets wait a few days and see what happens so i decided to take her to her regular vet for better post surgical care. I chose to come to this location because they are "Cost friendly" but that turned out to be not exactly true. Between the surgery itself & post surgical concerns/visits...i spent the same amount i would have at a regular vet & might have gotten more patient focused care. This isn't the first time ive had animals have surgeries or be spayed/neutered, be on carprofen etc. But it absolutely is the first time I've had concerns a week post op. & nothing is resolving. & no answers. Most of the front desk staff was friendly & the techs were also very attentive & were able to grab a full accurate history . But that's about it. have received better post op care other places. Nice...
Read moreRecent visit showed mouth disease and/or significant issues. Something we were there for 6 months ago and was not diagnosed. Now that she came back with same problems, they still didnât provide much information and all efforts to resolve the situation ended in severe miscommunication. The demeanor of the entire staff is grossly negligent and rude. In fact the woman with long gray hair and glasses was sleeping at the front desk. For at least 4 minutes. The check out girl is literally so afraid to speak, she offers such babe information with no help whatsoever. Inquiring about options or services misleading you with false info and statements. Trying to establish discussion about diagnosis and treatment were shut down if I asked if this was now considered a âPREEXISTING CONDITION â. Their whole attitude was that just how it is. And insurance wonât cover any costs. Upwards of $10000 to $14000 dollars. Only payment plans or loans could be accepted.
COMPLETE SMASH AND GRAB SCAM
SMASH MY EMOTIONS AND BREAK MY HEART AND TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN.
No empathy, no respect no proper demeanor in their field of work. Roughly two+ years going there and itâs been the same every visit. Need to be taught compassion, kindness and empathy as well as communication skills.
Didn't even bother to provide pain meds or anti-inflammatory meds for relief or a copy of the bill visit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
Read moreI just had to leave a review about this place. I have a Labrador puppy who is about six months old and he was very lethargic and sick. I took him up to springs and they wanted to charge me almost $8000 to perform an abdominal surgery long story short, I was like no way I canât afford that so I ran the risk and I took my baby Home with me overnight. I got up around five in the morning called over 20 clinics. Most clinics I called were very rude and disrespectful gave me very little guidance until I finally got a hold of CSU spur as soon as I told them what was going on, and I told them that my dog was at risk of dying. They took it very seriously and immediately got me in even though they were fully booked that day, the surgery cost $900 HUGE difference these people went above and beyond to communicate with me about what my pet needed. Even when I wasnât at the clinic they called my phone number while my dog was in surgery. All the people there are super kind, super respectful and just want the best for your animals if I could recommend a place to take your dogs when theyâre sick take them here , On top of that, I took my dog home with me and a couple days after surgery he started getting really active. I gave CSU spur a call back and they instantly prescribed me a medication I could pick up for my dog near where I live and I live almost 3 hours away from CSU spur. Huge thanks to...
