This is a great space. We usually come here for my son's favorite palyground, he calss it the Purple Hills. The fountain is also a big hit with plenty of children enjoying the cool water. There is also a plethora of interconnected trails that offers a choose-your-own-adventure style walk. This can turn into a larger adventure since these paths also connect with the Sand Creek Greenway Trail. We sometimes take a walk to the Stanley Marketplace.

Our favorite Stapleton park! My 4yr old requests to go to "the muddy hill park" where little ones love to make mud on this dirt hill, there are play structures for all ages and abilities and a splash pad like area! We just moved here and it has already become a go-to, must do, fun place for us!

TERRIBLE experience. Rented this venue for my wedding. When I did a final walk through (which had to be done one month before the event) I was told that we could not take any alcoholic beverages out side of the pavilion. We ended up having to rent the entire park for an additional $450 so our guests could enjoy the grassy area outside of the pavilion, so much for it being a cheap rental.

Fast forward day of our wedding. The woman on the property, Beth, I swear was on a mission to ruin our day. I received a phone call at 9am letting me know we could not take the tables the venue provides outside of the venue despite the fact we had the permit for the entire park. Finally after 45 min of back and forth with Beth I had to call her manager who finally agreed to let us use the tables. During this entire time Beth would not let my hired help set anything else up for my 10am wedding. She proceeded to follow my help around hovering over them with everything they did.

Due to the 45 minute delay nothing was set up when the guests started to arrive, but I was late as well having spent 45 min trying to allow them to let me use the tables that are included in the rental. We were then told day of that our bartender had to physically pour each guest their alcohol from our bloody mary and mimosa bar as well as hand each guest a beer from the beer tub. On our final walk through we were never told that we could not have a serve yourself alcohol bar. Now I have 80 guests and just one bartender for the wedding with no way to find a TIPS certified bartender on a Saturday morning to help. Beth hovered around the bar the ENTIRE wedding even when she saw we were following the rules and made our guest very uncomfortable with her staring.

We are upset that on our wedding day WE were punished with ridiculous rules that THEIR employees did not inform us of prior to the event, we could not make other plans to avoid these. Beth told our bartender "I'm sorry you have to deal with these people". I think anyone would be upset if some one caused so many problems the day of the wedding and was completely unwilling to work with us.

I contacted the Denver parks department about how we were treated, the discrepancies with rules and what was told to us during the final walk through and I was never called or emailed back. Despite the cost being attractive, everything else about this venue was atrocious. AVOID...

Great space for events up to 75 people. The reservation process is a nightmare! The online system is totally inadequate. And since they only allow one event a day, even if there's absolutely no overlap between a morning and an evening event, snatching a reservation can be difficult! Requiring set up and clean up time be a part of your paid rental time makes it less affordable especially with their very stringent rules and cleaning expectations. The alcohol policy is obnoxious. If you ONLY serve 3.2% beer, and they do check, you're ok. Otherwise you need to pay extra insurance, hire a liscenced bar tender, and still you can't serve anything other than beer and wine. No cocktails! And you need to buy additional insurance if you have a performer too. So after all the nickle and diming, a simple brunch event without booze will still run $500 just to rent. If you want mimosas, add another $300. The space itself is nice. Available indoor and outdoor spaces. Ceilings are very high making the space extremely loud! Chairs and tables provided are nice, but round tables are a bare to move. If you can book Way in advance, be flexible on your dates and don't mind shelling out for just a rental, this is a...

Went here to enjoy the "splash pad" with the daughters. Overall, it's great entertainment on a hot day. Some things to note, though. Splash pad fountains don't start up until 10am (at least for us in early June). Basically, there are a lot of in-ground fountains shooting water to varying heights. Occasionally (every 30-60 seconds), water pressure drops way down, but only for a few seconds.

My 3yo eventually came around and had a blast running through the fountains. It was a little too much for the 1yo. She had a few good splashes, but overall mostly watched. There isn't a small pool of standing water to splash around in or anything like that. Not a lot of overhead shade, so wear sunscreen. Good way to kill an hour with some kids, especially if you're not afraid to get...
