pH7 Pilates — Attraction in Denver

Jen the owner is a scammer and it doesn’t shock me to hear this studio is closing. When I reached out for private Pilates classes, Jen reassured that they work with my weird on call schedule. Well due to weather and things coming up on call, I was unable to make it into the studio. I reached out to Jen before my classes expired (which surprised me, no one told me the classes expired in 3 months but usually it’s a year everywhere else). They still offer the package I got for private Pilates so it wasn’t like a special promo they were running…

Jen said it was no problem and she would schedule me for my last 2 classes- then radio silence lol. I’ve sent emails to her, called and left a voicemail, no one ever answers the phone so like I said, not surprised they are closing but it’s not a huge loss, plenty of other studios in Denver. I guess what bothered me the most is Jen makes up rules as she goes and doesn’t keep her word and tells you what you want to hear to get your money. Oh well, $200 for 1 private Pilates class lol....

Previously left a great review but updating May 2024. Had a really hard time finding session times that worked for me after having private sessions. I was pretty unimpressed by the rest of the instructors and felt some of them used their time in class like therapy hour to discuss personal problems. If I came at the wrong time it was way too hot and felt like the air was so stagnant, opening a window wouldn’t really help. The equipment could really use an update, given the neighborhood and the prices they charge I’m astounded they didm’t find it in their budget to update their facilities. PH7 pilates is truly my home away from home. No, I don't have a pilates reformer machine at home, but the studio makes me feel so welcome and comfortable.
