edited 7/15/2024 Went back this weekend and had a completely different experience! Abigail, the manager, recommended we try a different game called "Alien Aptitude Test" and it was SO MUCH BETTER than the Ghostbusters game! The first time we visited, when we walked out we weren't sure what to think, or if we even enjoyed it. The ghostbusters game was a lot of filler story line and only two people could play at a time, leaving the other three players standing around too much. This time, WOW. We separated our group into two, so each adult had a kid or two. Everyone played constantly. The mini games were fun and fast-paced, and so even when a player wasn't up, it wasn't for long. I felt like I basically played the entire hour. When we walked out this time, the kids were laughing and smiling and so excited to share their experience with the other group, and what their favorite mini game was! My daughter in the other room said that she laughed the entire time! So I have a few recommendations: keep your group to 4 or less, or ask to break into more rooms so there is less people per room. Secondly, not all games are created equal! I would avoid Ghostbusters, but my kids loved "Alien Aptitude" and I heard Squid Games was also good. Huge thank you to Abigail, who was so welcoming and kind and went out of her way to provide a great experience the second time around for my family. We really appreciate you! We will definitely come back for Squid Games!
(2 stars) Honestly, the game experience itself was pretty fun. However, it was WAY too expensive for the value! We came as a group of 5, two adults and three kids. Paid about $180 for an hour of play. We were the only people there. I wish the person running the game had given us some tips- like break into two groups, since it wasn’t busy and then we would have each gotten more game time. With five people, and only two being able to play at a time most of the game, there wasn’t much game for each individual person at all. I think I played for 5 minutes total of the entire 55 minutes we were in the room. Also, I can’t speak to the other games, but we played ghostbusters, and over half the game was weird filler story plot that you watch only, but that wasn’t necessary. I thought we would be playing for the entire hour. So, I would not recommend this for kids or large groups. You end up feeling bummed that you paid so much, and didn’t really get...
Read moreAmazingly fun experience! Yes it's technically a video game, but in a mandatory interactive cooperative play manner. No sitting by yourself, disengaged, isolated like some games. We rented the place put for our company party. The rooms were fun, accessible by all ages and abilities in our group. Such great team building in a fun, active way. If you remember those games where someone is blindfolded and has to do a maze following someone elses directions. It's that sort of teamwork at times, but in a life-size game. Think pong but your body moments direct the ball that you pass to your partner. Or Tetris, but you rotate the block by rotating yourself. We plan to return for a double-date night with friends or as a family team building adventure. 2 to 6 players per room. Great for birthdays, wedding-party parties, dates, company team building. The rooms are nicely air conditioned, there are clean restrooms, also free lockers for purse/ wallet, and you can bring in your drinks...
Read moreThis was a really fun experience! Not an all day thing but definitely kills one to two hours when all is said and done. We paid to play two different games. Started with a simple one since we hadn't ever done this before and then the other was more involved and recommended for ages 16+. Pricing is a bit high, we paid about $50 per person total but we had a bunch of fun. You are playing in your own private room and there are no windows so no fear for those who are a bit shy about strangers watching you jump around and being silly. There are drinks that can be served right to your room while you play but we didn't take advantage of that. The place is surrounded by street parking which is used by residents and patrons of the area so finding a spot is a bit difficult so just use the free parking garage located right next door. We had a blast and will be back with...
