Update 5/17/25: I've been going to Laura ever since this first review in 2022 and just want to reiterate how absolutely amazing she is! In addition to being an injectable PRO (we found that Dysport works best for me) he facials are OUT OF THIS WORLD. It's not just a facial, it's an experience. Laura sets the tone and really allows you to relax, be in the present and "forget about your worries and your strife" (hahaha for those of us born in the 80s). But seriously, it's a facial with the best products, an upper arm, neck, head massage, you end up looking 10 years younger and it doesn't break the bank/super affordable. If you're looking for an awesome facial call Laura, she's your girl!

2022: What a great experience, Laura and Michael are AMAZING!!

I turned 40 back in December and I've always taken care of my face but I haven't been one to get facials on a regular basis. Now that I'm getting older, I figure I should start making a point to add them to my self care regiment. I took a look online and Skinsanity had some great reviews on Yelp. After checking out their website and reading about owner/operator, Laura, I was convinced.

I called and spoke with Michael who really took the time to go over all of my skincare/facial options (I mean he really explained everything, super knowledgable) and we decided on the Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning and a peel.

Upon arrival, Michael was super welcoming and warm and the space is so comfortable, cozy and relaxing. Michael got to work on my treatments and honestly, everything felt so good I felt like I was gonna fall asleep. Once finished, my skin felt like a baby's butt lol - and I was really happy!

I was so satisfied that I asked Michael what he thought about either Botox or Juvederm for my forehead. I've had fine lines since I was a teenager/early 20s - I'm really expressive but also I think they are a little bit hereditary. Michael suggested Juvederm and again, was super thorough explaining everything. A few weeks later I decided to go for it and booked an appt with Laura!!

The booking process is easy, you just go online, pick what you want, time/date and you're done. I was pretty nervous but once I met Laura, it all seemed to fade away. She is so down to earth and so easy to talk to and soooo experienced, that I knew I was in good hands right away - I mean, she's an expert for sure. Plus, earlier in the day she had texted me directly letting me know that the person ahead of me was running late. Everything felt so easy about the whole process which added to my ease once I arrived.

The injection process took less than 5 mins and I noticed a difference right away! It's been three days and the difference is continuing to show up more and more. I can't say enough how happy I am with my decision to choose Skinsanity.

I cannot say enough about Laura! My first experience with her was for Botox. My last Botox experience left me a bit uneasy and left me looking “surprised” even though I was far from it. I explained all of my worries and concern to Laura. She not only took the time to talk to me and calm my nerves about the process but explained to me why my eyebrows peaked and how and where an esthetician administers the injections can create the subtle look that I was looking for. Within days of the Botox I knew she was the one for me. 😊 My second appointment was for a facial. After she talked me though everything that would be done and evaluated my skin, she asked me if I wanted quiet or casual chit chat. This was such a complement to me. It was as though she was taking my underlying wants into consideration. We’ve all had those days when we just wanted to lie there and have peace and quiet and then we have had those days where we just want to talk. I appreciated her wanting to know what I wanted. Needless to say, throughout the process, she explained everything she was applying and what I was to expect. In addition, I got to know a little about her and she got to know a little about me. I will definitely be returning...

Before I started frequenting Skinsanity, I only ever had two professional facials in my entire life. Both were at very feminine and “fancy” environments, which made me feel kind of intimidated and embarrassed by my nonexistent skincare routine. I felt uncomfortable being among the staff at those locations since everyone was so pretty and shiny.

Skinsanity and their staff, specifically Michael, makes me feel comfortable in my own skin. He is very clear about the process during each service, and the application is so relaxing.

I also don’t feel pressured to buy potentially useless products that I will never use, and the environment is cozy and very clean.
