This is NOT a soul food restaurant. This is a pool hall with terrible food. I got fried shrimp and fried fish. The shrimp tasted like they haven’t changed the grease since they opened and the fish was nothing but overly fried batter. There was no actual fish inside. The employees have no sense of customer service and aren’t knowledgeable of anything food related there. NOT A RESTAURANT just a beat down pool hall. Read moreIt's a great place to have a few drinks or have a party. If you don't know what to play on the digital jukebox, the waitress's are more than happy to help. There's also a kitchen that serves a lot of different food from hamburgers and fries, to fish and shrimp, to fried mushrooms and onion rings. And from time to time some regulars sell plates to food and burritos. In case you don't have time to make a home cooked meal, somebody else here can have a plate done for you. My sister worked there, our kids were raised there in dance off parties. Its a part of Park Hill history. Happy to see it striving and the other new businesses expanding and opening. Go Park Hill.
