I am very disappointed. I waste of money. I joined to get a masters degree in software development, but the courses and materials are a joke. Material is very old mostly theoretical. There is little to no hands on experience in learning to code, its all theory and concepts which is ridiculous. Not to mention this is a masters degree and 90% of my classmates in every class I took are under the age of 30, with little to no experience! I barely did anything and I got an A in all of the course I took just becuase of my own professional experience. Don't get me started on the online courses: Plop up a couple of PDFs and assign reading assignments. Then ask everyone to discuss a topic of their preference! and you have to reply two times in the discussion board. Then write a paper about the topic. It's all filling and a waste of time. It is so bad that students want to take on-site classes just to avoid the ridiculous discussion assignments. Where is my coding training! Where is any professor's training? They could really learn from some on-line courses like Udemy for example. At least in those courses there is a recording of a teacher showing and explaining things to you, not just assigning reading old dated PDFs on the concepts of programming! Really dissapointed and a...

If you're looking for a flexible online graduate program because you're a working adult, "this ain't it, Fam".

They have discussion posts that are due on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. MST, which is great, but then have 3-5 page assignments due on Friday at 12:30 p.m. MST. So you get the whole week and weekend to work on a 10 point discussion, but not for the 150 point assignment. Good luck trying to get most of their professors to work with you on those due dates, because they're too busy flaunting their newly minted PhDs with relatively little teaching experience, let alone online teaching experience. Even with documented extenuating circumstances.

Then the curriculum is a whole different mess. I started in a "Global Affairs" program that changed to "Global Community Engagement" - still not quite sure what that program is actually supposed to be now. They changed the courses to have a business focus instead of a political focus, so you're essentially learning the "fluff" curriculum of an MBA without the core analysis that makes the MBA...

Me, my wife, and my wife’s family did not pay $80,000 to have a college professor treat my wife sub human, extremely racist professor called,” Monica Gutierrez” tonight in online college. I was absolutely appalled and outraged what my wife and her class had to go through tonight. Over half of my Platoon died and I was one of 4 white people in platoon. I wouldn’t be alive if it wasn’t for the black community. With that being said this college is embarrassment to our veterans, my fallen battle buddies, and my Celtic linage that does not have an ounce of Aryan in it, for employing professors like Monica Gutierrez. Undercover Racism at it’s finest due to professors at this university not recording their sessions. This is how they’re keeping it quiet and why it is allowed to continue. After this tonight I’ll be contacting everyone I have access to as a combat veteran. You are not going to keep these old world beliefs and hatred’s going. It is old and...
