Wow! The Turkish pastries are so flaky, and the baklava are all phenomenal, with many options to choose from. The turkish espresso is smooth and strong, and the chai and black tea were great as well. Not only did I eat here, I brought more home to share with family and the opportunity to try more of what I didn't during my visit.

Since it's adjacent to the DU campus, most patrons seem to pop in and pop out quickly, too, if that's your thing. The service here is great. They are quick to take your order and get for food or drink to you very timely. Very clean and organized. Great spot for coffee/tea/food to stay or go. We sat at one of the handful of tables, right at the window, perfect for people watching.

Every single item ordered was delicious, with the perfect amount of flavor.

Ground Beef Borek: warm, flaky, spiral meat pasrty. Dad's Plate: olives, tomatoes, mild feta, roll, mozzarella cubes, party. And an egg. Side of honey and jelly.

Chocolate pistachio baklava Pistachio baklava Walnut baklava Sesame and an Olive Simit (flaky round pastry shaped like a wheel) Turkish Coffee To Go.

See you soon! Thank you for the great experience with Turkish cuisine. I'm excited to try a Spinach Borek and the...

Stepping into this restaurant feels like a warm embrace from Turkey itself. The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a delicious journey through traditional flavors. The baklava? Absolutely divine—flaky, buttery layers kissed with just the right amount of honey and nuts, melting in your mouth like a sweet dream.

The doner baguette struck a perfect balance—rich in flavor yet never overwhelming, every bite delivering that perfect harmony of spices and tender meat. And the hospitality? Whether it was the owners or the staff, they radiated warmth, making us feel like honored guests rather than just customers.

For the full experience, don’t skip the Turkish coffee service—a ritual in itself, beautifully presented and best enjoyed alongside that heavenly baklava. This place isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience worth savoring. Can’t...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Istanbul Cafe and Bakery, a delightful hidden gem that truly exceeded my expectations. The Turkish coffee was rich and robust, perfectly complemented by an array of outstanding pastries. Trust me when I say—don’t stop at ordering just one pastry. Each bite is a burst of flavor, and you'll find yourself eager to sample them all.

What truly set this experience apart was the knowledgeable and friendly service. The staff enthusiastically shared insights about the variety of Turkish entrees, enriching our dining adventure with cultural tidbits and recommendations.

If you’re looking for authentic Turkish flavors paired with exceptional service, Istanbul Cafe and Bakery is a must-visit. Highly...

A little smaller than the Leetsdale location, but the same great food and pastries. The Turkish coffee is excellent - hot & strong. The baklava comes in several varieties all of which are good. I particularly like the pistachio. Service is fast, friendly and helpful. The seating area is limited, but there were seats when I was there. They do have password protected Wi-Fi available for guests. Parking is limited in the area, but was available about a block away on Sunday morning.
