V Spa, LLC — Attraction in Denver

My experience here was interesting to say the least. When you walk in, you can immediately tell their main objective is making money and not much else as the interior is pretty dingy and they didn't have the air conditioner on which made the place very hot and musty. The music was on some strange repeat so the same portion of a song played every 15 to 20 seconds or so. Nothing there seemed all that clean. Not dirty, but not clean either. The massages were decent especially for the price paid. What was strange though was that I tried leaving what I thought was a pretty generous ~35% tip but the lady took it and said "more". I didn't quite understand so I asked her to repeat herself. She said "more tip". I was very confused and just happened to find $5 in my back pocket so gave it to her where she took it and said "ok bye" without looking up. Like I said, very interesting experience. I am Asian myself so I know Asian bluntness when I see it. The feeling here is much more not caring as opposed to bluntness. Probably won't go back or recommend anyone to go. Just had another great massage session today at vitality spa. I had the combo 2 75mins where you get both your feet massage and half hour Body for $50. What a great deal! I have been going to them for years and surely they are one of the best places in town very good massage and clean environment with reasonable price all staffs here are very friendly as well plus it got several good Asian restaurants in the plaza and I can grab something eat either before or after a massage. I understand during the whole COVID pandemic they had to close down for couple of months just like a lot of other places and they are still not operating at their full capacity yet due to taking additional precautions and it’s really reasonable for them to raise their price during these difficulty times. I was there yesterday with 2 girlfriends we did the 50 dollar combo massage 2 of my friends give a 10 dollar tip each i give a 15 dollar tip the owner (male) was very very rude he went on and on saying my friends should give a higher tip. He does not speak english so he was constantly typing in his phone what he wanted to say in English . There were other people getting a massage and we were trying to be quiet wile e was very loud and unpleasant. He showed us a sign they have with 10 dollars ( 20%) not happy 15 dollars happy e 20 dollars very happy .... so just keep in mind if you do the 50 dollars massage he will want a 15 or 20 dollar tip.
