omg I don't even know where to even start because I am still in shock right now.

I am currently pregnant and I was craving for a vietnamese sandwich, of course other places were close on a Tuesday. There were a couple of things I wish they did for the customers which were putting a menu somewhere, or have the prices somewhere so we know how much everything costs and what they have. We ended up spending like 50$ here, which was a lot but we decided to support small family own businesses.

Anyways, the DOWNSIDE TO ALL OF THIS! Was I found MAGGOTS IN MY SANDWICHES!!! I ate half of my sandwich and then when I tore my daughters sandwich in half, I saw something moving and squirming! OMG I couldn't believe my eyes!!! I threw everything I bought from them today, from desserts, steam buns, sandwich's and other small bakery items. I am in complete disgust . My boyfriend didn’t finish his sandwich at first because his meat was still frozen so he ended up throwing it away.

I honestly CAN'T believe they're getting away with serving food like this to customers and allowing it to happen. I will be contacting the owners about this because this is just so wrong especially when serving it to a pregnant woman! I'll be...

This Bakery is the original location, as there is a secondary location in the same shopping center as Costco and Pacific Ocean Market. The elderly lady who owns the shop is almost 70 years old, and she is a spry and cheerful shop owner. I went there when it was during Christmas time, so that was a long line of people. The line moved quickly. Although the shop is small, the selection is huge. They have everything from the long Chinese donut, to the bread that makes the Vietnamese sandwiches, as well as a very delicious Vietnamese sandwiches. The sandwiches come in the variety of flavors, BBQ pork or ham or my favorite combination. It used to be cash-only, but I think that's changed now to be able to accept credit cards. The Banh Mi here are so delicious and they are only $3!! You can even stock up on them and keep them in the fridge for later in the week. Baguettes are also super cheap if you prefer to construct your own sandwich. Tapioca desserts in the fridge are tasty and authentic. Parking lot is very convenient, however, there is some construction going on Federal, makes getting back on I-25 southbound kind of a pain. Oh well, I guess I will be going there a lot more when they finish tearing up the road.
