China Jade Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Denver

Mom brought me here for my birthday lunch. Fantastic service and great variety of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines. I had an order of Bánh Bôt Loc (Vietnamese shrimp and pork dumplings) that were to die for! These alone are reason enough to go back. I also had their hot and sour soup (which I MUST try at every restaurant that offers it) which was better than average, but lacked the strips of pork I have come to enjoy in that variety. Mom enjoyed her order of Happy Family and cream cheese wontons. We had a couple plum wines to wash everything down with, which unfortunately tasted as though the bottle had been open for awhile and maybe not the best quality (more sugary than usual). Also unfortunately, the atmosphere doesn't match the cuisine. It's a bit too basic for the great quality of food they serve and the prices they charge. That aside, we were mostly pleased with our experience here. This place is the real deal. Everything is fresh and amazing. Authentic and full of wonderfully combined ingredients. Cant wait to go back for dimsum. Nothing is dumbed down for the American panda Express loving palette that is the general public. If your a knuckle dagger wanting to tuck your napkin in your nascar shirt and eat with a fork, next to your wife sporting the I'm with stupid shirt, do not come here. The raw power of food culture in this place will manifest itself into a mighty beast and eat you before you have a chance to drown all your food in soy sauce and wash it down with mountain dew. First time in the place. Did not seem that bad. 1st they forgot my soup which came after I was done eating. My husband got sesame shrimp which was sour and oily. Then I asked for a to go container for my dim sum. She took the plate and put it in a to go container herself with her bare hands right in front of us. I of course did not take the food. The last want to pay for for the meal to find out they have no free refills on sodas. They charged us 3.50 per glass/per refill. Will never return.
