I do love this store and the staff here are very friendly, however I have had some unfortunate experiences my last few visits. A few packages of tortillas I bought were moldy upon opening them less than an hour after purchase, and a bag of cheese I purchased was spoiled. Secondly, I am disappointed to see the hours not posted on their page, as they close fairly early (8pm) while other stores stay open until 9 or 10 in the area. I would definitely reccomend posting your open hours as to not confuse customers. I was very disappointed to enter the store and be turned away because they were closed before 830pm.

Read moreI'm confused. This is a cute market. It didn't have everything I was looking for, but it was very impressive with the amount of meats it had, so I asked for some marinated steak on a whim. I was excited to get home and try it. I opened up the bag with the griddle hot and ready to cook some thin steak for tacos, and I had 2 lbs of livers inside the bag. Did they do this on purpose to me or was there a misunderstanding? I am able to read Spanish and speak what I'm reading so I know I asked for what I wanted. The staff is friendly to me even though I am just a simple gringo. They have all the good classic Mexican snacks and drinks, there are basic groceries and produce as well, but my favorite is the "Deli" because they have prepared meats and fajita, it's all cut up and prepared, you can buy it buy the half-pound if you want and just pay $3 for lunch that day.
