Wooten Theatre - Home of Impromptu Players — Attraction in DeRidder

Went for a seminar. Saw advertisement for guest speaker through Facebook events, otherwise would have never known (we live in deridder). I literally thought this place was closed.

Location: near downtown deridder, on a fairly busy one-way street. Parking available on the side and back of building.

Atmophere: dated but appeared clean. The entry way was small and the set up for tickets was inside at a table. The theater room was larger with a stage. Folding chairs were set up (not mounted to floors). Cozy, comfortable.

Personnel: not really sure who worked there and who was part of the speaker's team, but everyone regardless was friendly and interactive with those who attended.

I think it would help to make this place look more lively on the outside, maybe a sign near the building that advertised...

Loved the dinner theater. Food was excellent...served quick, hot and fast and attendants were constantly on hand to offer more tea or coffee.

The play was great! Loved that it incorporated both young and mature actors. They all played their parts very well, were believeable, with minimal to no flaws! Conversation flowed well between the characters. Intervals between sets was minimal and stage props were quick and efficient.

Suggestion/Question: Do you ever have murder mysteries involving the audience at this location?

This was our first attendance at this venue. Looking forward to many more to come. Kudos to...
