Treasure City Market LLC — Local services in DeRidder

Alot of stuff in this large store but didn't find much that felt like buying. Would return for a few things.

Location: downtown deridder. Very limited parking on the road. Store hours tuesday-friday 10am- 5pm, which we usually can't make it in time because of work.

Atmosphere: very large store with upstairs too. Kinda cluttered. Some areas felt uncomfortable to walk near in fear of bumping into something. I didn't like the air blowing directly in my face in certain area of upstairs- felt dirty to me (probably not, but being near old items with the air in my face felt weird).

Service: friendly and comfortable to talk. They won't barter because they rent out booths to sellers so they can't come down on any prices unless the seller lists it as an on sale item (ie christmas 50% off booth #...).

Items: many things old and new, not all antique. Toys, books, dvds, bills, pots, cast iron, Vaseline glass, mickey mouse stuffed animals, plates, Campbell's soup mugs, glass bottles, key chains, cookware, tumblers, essential oils, clothes, purses, tabletop decor, furniture, etc.

Prices: some felt expensive for what it was. And not all items were labeled correctly or true (ie some items marked as Vaseline glass were not really Vaseline glass- they were just regular green glass). I recommend comparing the item to ebay listings to see if the value is accurate.

Overall, it's a decent spot to go browse around. You might find something neat. We would return on occasion, although we have been a few times and haven't...

I have been coming to this flea market for a couple years and never had any issues but today will be the last time I ever come back. Made a pile of items on the counter while I continued to shop. Back to checkout and one item was not in the pile. Staff didn't know anything about it?????
