Liz Lidgett Gallery and Design — Attraction in Des Moines

Very satisfied repeat customer! I first heard about the gallery when it was featured in Midwestern magazine. I ended up hiring Liz to do an art consult and purchase our first pieces - a mix of commissions and gallery works - for my husband's 40th birthday. Since then he and I have both made small and larger purchases from Liz and her team to mark various milestones and the art and service are both amazing. I love that the gallery has something for everyone and offers a variety of price points to make it accessible to more buyers. We are now at the point where I'm out of wall space, but I find myself on the gallery website at least once a month just to see what's new. I've also popped into the gallery with my kids on a day off from school and Liz graciously gave them a tour of some of the fun pieces that really drew their eye (one of which ended up being a joint Christmas present for them this year). The whole team is fantastic and if you like work by a certain artist but don't see something that really strikes you, keep checking back or ask the gallery team if a commission might be an option....

Liz, Tina, and Aly are killing it! Shopping with this gallery is such an easy experience. I live in Charleston, SC, the gallery is in Iowa - but honestly, it doesn’t matter. I’ve purchased half a dozen pieces from them, and I feel like they are my local gallery. They respond to questions promptly, and will send you additional photos or even videos of any pieces you are interested in. But the best part about the gallery is their strong Instagram presence, especially their stories. Liz, Tina, and Aly spend so much time and effort discussing all the pieces available or soon to launch. They show side-views of each piece so you can really see the detail and texture. The Liz Lidgett Gallery supports a diverse roster of talented artists. In addition, they have a full spectrum of price points to accommodate any budget. I appreciate the time that Tina and Liz put into maintaining and updating their website and social media. They post fantastic photos of the pieces that they have at the gallery-- detailing color, texture, etc. Also, they regularly make videos highlighting new pieces, artists' collections, and current shows, as well as providing insights about the technique, media, and artist. As someone who is not local, these factors matter in my decision making process. The folks at the gallery are knowledgable, informative, kind, friendly, dedicated, and outstanding at what they do!
