WE were disappointed to find out that they didn't have all the menu items available to us. We had to choose from either chicken or one of an appetizer, dessert and/or adult beverages. The Station made things interesting with a type of Graziano Sausage Nachos. It's well worth trying, although I do NOT recommend the banana peppers or the beer cheese that regularly accompany it. We ordered these the condiments on the side to try them , but didnt care for 'em, however, we asked for regular shredded cheese to replace the beer cheese and with that and the other regular toppings (a chunky red salsa and like a sauteed bell pepper and onion mixture and it was Bon Appetit!) The peppers and onions REALLY made it pop, adding an interesting flavor combo while being paired with the different type of nachos that they used because they weren't the traditional corn tortilla nachos they were more like a fried flour tortilla chip, which was very light and airy and flavorful. Great tasting but not very good for dipping or using for a chip to pick up toppings because as soon as you touch the chips they jus break because they're they're kind of flimsy, but delicious non-the-less. So if ya get rid of he banana peppers and beer cheese and ask for a fork with this dish you will be in Hawg Heaven! My hat goes off to the chef! We also enjoyed the Cinnamon and Sugar Dough Balls which came with both a cream cheese frosting dip and a chocolate frosting dip. The chocolate frosting dip was warm and gooey but it tasted like pooey! the cream cheese frosting dip was okay but it was cold it was not hot and warm and gooey making I it difficult to dip those sugar balls in there but overall with the with the cream cheese frosting they were pretty daggum good. My friend also ordered the Creme Brulee and she loved it. The waitress was very nice and helpful, we had our food in less than fifteen minutes, and the atmosphere was decent. I only rated it as a 4 because all of the menu items weren't available and because of dipping issues we had. and I don't know if they do that just because of the bar or what but Other than that I believe The Station has got it going on. Overall we were pleasantly pleased. I'd like to return to try some other interesting menu...
Read moreWe came last Saturday and just had a very disappointing and disheartening visit. Our waitress seemed upset we were even there. I didn't get her name but she has long black hair. It has taken me this long to calm down enough to write a review and I thought about not writing it but we were treated so badly that I have to say something. We came with 6 kids after the fair. Our waitress seemed annoyed we were there and I thought maybe she had a bad customer something before us so we tried to be extra nice to no avail. Every time she left the table my sister and I kept asking each other what in the world tbe problem might be to be treated so rudely. My sister told her twice that she didn't want jalapeños on her burger but they were on there anyway and she told my sister to pick them off. She messed up how many kid meals we needed and realized her mistake when she brought out the food except we waited 15 minutes for the other kids meal and when we went inside to check on it, she was sitting down eating and talkng with other workers while she never put in the other kids meal. We got it in time to put in a to go box. Then I asked for a veteran discount and she literally sighed very heavily and rolled her eyes. She then said I had to have and ID. When I showed her the ID that says I'm a 100% disabled veteran she huffed again and then only gave me 10% off one appetizer. I almost started crying at the table after all that but the kids were with us. Their Dad is also military and is deployed for the last 9 months to the middle east. We saved our money and took off work to take them to the fair and out to eat. They deserved better as they also noticed how we were being treated and kept asking us if they were doing something wrong!!! And we were there because the kids were excited about Dino Nuggets. I always write reviews and if you look, you will see they are 99.9% positive. So I'm not complaining just to complain. I would like my money...
Read moreAtmosphere wasn’t bad. We sat out on the patio and it was nice. Our waitress was good. Food was disgusting though. I was alittle disappointed after hearing so many good reviews. Chips were super salty. But our waitress took them back and got me fries. fries were salty but edible. Some of my friends said theirs was to and one mentioned their chicken strips were overly cooked but not bad. I Ordered the chicken Cobb salad and it tasted like it had chemicals on it. and I barely had any chicken on it as well. So I didn’t eat much of it. I tried but couldn’t. Just overall lacked flavor. And I’ve had some pretty amazing salads. I personally Would not recommend for the food I had. Waist of money on that end. But I will say this now that I’ve edited it Management was wonderful. He saw my review gave me my meal for free and a gift card. I kind of felt like an a-hole afterwards and got some dirty looks from the staff lol. but I’d rather be honest and have them correct the issue. That’s how a business grows. I might come back due to their willingness to go above and beyond and correct it and willing to apologize. Something I was not expecting. Thanks for that! Shows you care about your customers Most companies don’t. hopefully the food is better next time and they just...
