APRIL 2023 I ask about renting the spot for my birthday party. The manager Emily ask for what date I tell her. It’s open it’s mine she agreed to it boom! 💥 The party is on! I done mad flyers got them printed etc. selling tickets online because you can’t sell tickets at the door. There is no written contract on the terms of the rental basically a hand shake in a fb message. Emily tells me no DJ allowed I say coo but Hollywood was doing there maybe a month or two ago I was there I WAS THERE!!! (Remember that part)

May or april it was 3 years ago after we agree on me renting the space for my party she either cancelled on me last min and/ or said new rules which were to discourage are in play and the owner removed all rap and hip hop from the jukebox (what is the nationality of the originality of hip hop/ rap music? Meaning I couldn’t get MC hammer, Vanilla Ice, Monte Jordan this is how we do it” in 2023? 😂😂😂) new rules were put in place to discourage me from having the party which then technically they can say “we didn’t cancel”

I POSTED A PICTURE OF ME AND A FEW OF MY HOMIES IN INGERSOL TAP THAT I COULD TAG!!! BUT OUR PICTURE IS POSTED IN THIS POST . We took it inside ingersoll tap a month ago. Which we got drinks i got served etc, NO PROBLEMS. I BEEN SEEING EMILY AND HER LOOKS but she could/and or never said nothing. The night of the pic with me and the homies she had a chance. She had a chance Friday night when she was on the patio smoking and I walked in and her buddy bryce called me by name and out because it was dead. YES THIS RECENT PREVIOUS FRIDAY.

SO TONIGHT WE LEAVE THE ELKS AND HEAD OVER THERE. I walk in run to the bathroom come out dap up a few of the homies, Bruce included from Friday that called me by name lol.

I GO TO ORDER MY DRINK AND THE WAITRESS TELLS ME I CANT BE SERVED BECAUSE OF EMILY AND THAT SITUATION WHICH YES I WENT TO FB WITH IT BECAUSE YOU OR THE OWNER CANCELLED/AND OR CHANGED THE POLICY INTENTIONALLY FROM THROWING MY PARTY. WHICH I BELIEVE A SMALL BEEF I HAD WITH ONE OF EMILYS LOCALS BROUGHT ALL THIS ABOUT. LIKE THE LOCAL TOLD EMILY NOT TO MESS WITH ME BECAUSE ME AND THEIR BEEF, no proof so I let it go💯🤷🏾‍♂️ but to come with new rules that are aimed at blacks to discourage me from having my party we agreed to last minute after I spent money promoting...

If I could’ve given zero stars, I would have. I tip appropriate (at least $1 per drink)and most of the time extra but tonight it took me a lot to tip at all. I still did because I am in the service industry. However, never have I watched patron after patron get served before someone who was clearly waiting for a drink first in the exact same area..: three seperate times. As a bartender, you have a tendency to take care of everyone and good tippers very well. That wasn’t my expirence.. I was clearly not an interest to be waited on. When I did get service, it was curt. I used to really enjoy this bar; a few years ago I really enjoyed the staff, the owner Dan, and the ambiance. It's so sad how that's changed. It's gotten pricey, first of all, and drink prices seem to depend on who you order from. The manager Emily has made blatantly racist remarks about the Black customers that frequent the bar--"those people don't tip." I can't imagine Dan supports this kind of behavior, much less the customers she's talking about.
