Meredith Corporation — Attraction in Des Moines

So my 87 year old mother with Alzheimer's disease has been getting bills from these idiots for years and she just got one again today. I googled the address and found it belongs to Meredith Corporate Headquarters at 1716 Locust Street in Des Moines Iowa. Meredith Corporation does not disclose this on the bill itself in anyway. It just appears as a bill for $42.90 to Food and Wine Billing Center, 1716 Locust Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309-3023. I guess they were hoping an elderly person who didn't remember whether they had ordered a book from them would receive the bill and pay it. Not this time. My mother also does not drink so she would never have ordered a cocktail book. I have sent them letters telling them my mother could not possibly have ordered anything from them and I also told them to stop sending her bills. I also called them and told them she had received a book she had not ordered and was told to take it to the post office and mail it back and that it would be free of charge to return it. When I took it to the post office, the post office worker told me since the package had been opened, I would have to pay the postage to mail it back to them. He also said to throw it out because it was a SCAM. Hello Pam Hudson, billing director, if you actually exist, stop sending letters to my mother. Do you really have to stoop this low to try to make money? SCAM, SCAM, SCAM.

Seriously again? So now it's April and we just got another letter trying to get my mother to pay for this book that the POST OFFICE says is a SCAM. My mother can't even write her name now. IF YOU CAN'T READ THE WRITING ON THE PICTURE I'M SENDING YOU, LET ME TELL YOU IN BIG LETTERS SO YOU CAN UNDERSTAND. WHY DON'T YOU HOLD YOUR BREATH UNTIL YOU GET THE MONEY? So now the billing director is Max Fontana? Is that like Tony Fontana from Scarface? No one ever follows up on anything. I can't figure out why other people haven't tried to put a stop to this. You're as low as they get trying to rip off elderly citizens. Meredith Corporation if you have any class, make it stop now. If not keep trying it. Eventually someone other than me will be ready to take you on. When we do I guarantee it will not be worth whatever you made off the elderly people you ripped off.

Update: Yes they sent my mother another bill for the same book. I guess there's no point in expecting this company to grow a conscience now. I just throw everything out. Enjoy wasting your time sending mail to us. You won't ever get...

Buyers beware I keep getting these little pocket books. They are like appointment books that come from TI Inc. books from PO Box 280, Wilton, IA 52778. What I found on the Internet is that TI ink books is time books and is own by Meredith since 2018. I know this because I called their phone number on the letter that I received. The phone number is 1-800-637-6210, they answer as “Meredith” I have to tell you that these people have been tracking me down on my new address and putting $28 on my credit card every year and sending me a pocketbook that nobody uses is complete useless because everybody obviously uses Google on Google Calendar and nobody uses a pocket Organizer these days at all, I sent a letter to them two years ago and they like I said track me down to my new address and send me a book that I don’t need. I called and I got a confirmation number from them. They said that they will return back the $28 to my account and they’re canceling any plans that I have I do not remember putting any plans with these people and I do remember that I haven’t received these two books for the last six years and I sent a letter to cancel them two years ago didn’t hear from them last year thank God , and I will tell you there are some people and Corporations in this world that just need to move to the country of useless people and leave to good hardworking people alone . They have no moral and no integrity. They do this to old people HORRIBLE POLICIES TO CAUSE STRESS AND TO DAMAGE OLD PEOPLE. They will track you down to take your money. This is absolutely zero business integrity. I really really regret whenever I applied for a card that was included with them I believe it was American Express so be careful with American Express credit cards and whatever they sell you that...

Received email stating they would be rebilling me for a subscription that I don't have, never have been subscribed to, never would have subscribed to it, nor have I ever been billed by to my knowledge.
