Normally when I go here everyone is so friendly and I feel welcomed, but today was my last time visiting this market. One of the family members (or whoever he is) was very rude. He has very poor customer service. I know I should have left after he told me they wasn't going to have any green tomatoes until tomorrow. I continued to let him talk. I said a few things and he said a few more things. The 2 things that got me was in so many words your telling me at the end of the day you do not need my business. Ok you might not but I am still a customer. The next thing you started talking about watermelon I came in for tomatoes. You didn't even ask me if l like watermelon (you stereotyped me). It's too much going on in this world to argue back and forth that is why I just let you talk. I told the guy behind the counter thank you for being so nice and friendly when I come in, but they just lost a customer because of 1 individual being rude and foolish. For your next customer just say no ma'am we will have some tomorrow, and that should be the end of your conversation. Please learn how to talk to people because you never know who you are talking to. May God bless you in whatever you are...
Read moreThis place is wonderful. In the spring they have alot of beautiful flowers of all kinds on sale for very good prices. The pots are not small. I'mn the summer and fall they carry seasonal plants. Inside the market is farm to table produce. They have chicken as well. What I really like is the variety of fresh farm peas and beans. They have all the types of peas and beans that I grew up gardening and they are already shelled. There is candy available bagged for different sizes. Cherry sours, mixed fruit sours, nuts, dried fruit and so much more. They carry home made jelly and other products. They carry farm fresh eggs too. They buy from local farmers, so they help the economy. They carry 6 or 7 types of apples. Different types of plums. Many different farm to table veges etc. Don't miss out on this place. They have more than I mentioned. It is fabulous. I always enjoy shopping here. They have wood for sale as well. Dried corn stalks for Oct. and Nov. Decorating. Pumpkins everywhere. Nice plants with mini decorative peppers. Check them out, you'll buy...
Read moreSo as a customer if you are told by the owner. In order to get a veteran discount you have to show the cashier proof of being a veteran. So on many occasions I come in show the veterans card get the discount and all is well. However on this day I come in do the same as I always do. However the young lady after looking at the card felt the need to "say I can't read your mind" applied the discount and we left. Mind you the the owner has a right to refuse service for any reason and I would be ok with that. But if you are ok with treating veterans or anyone coming to purchase from you with such unwarranted disrespect and attitude. I think the community deserves better and will show it by eventually stop coming altogether despite the long history of your business. Sharing because I am sure I'm not the first one to be treated like this and want be the last. But at least others will know that they have a opportunity to be the next one if they choose to spend their money at your place...
