Beautiful little gem, nestled in a cove of trees, down a small, gradual sloping hill. It’s steps off of the hustle & bustle of busy Jefferson, with a parking lot and a walking loop. Situated next to neighboring boat wells, the park and the boat wells are separated by a 2 lane road, so your children will be safe from any water mishaps. There is a small, (a little bit bigger than a) backyard-style playground with swings and a kind of “jungle gym,” a scattering of a few cookout tables, and plenty of shade provided by the enormous trees hugging the park, so even on the hottest of days, you’ll be surprisingly cool. If you're parking there that weekend, bring your 4x4 or at least something with a higher ground clearance to get over the curbs. If it rains, you WILL need a tow if you don't have at least...
