Belle Isle Pizza — Restaurant in Detroit

I’ve left a review of this place before, but my last experience with them solidified why Belle Isle Pizza is my favorite local pizza place. First, this pizza tastes genuine & authentic, as in not artificial. A lot of people have palettes accustomed to mass produced food, but BIP always serves me a pie that tastes like it came out of my own kitchen. Second, NEVER mix this place with the munchies (or you will gain a couple of pounds). Third, the customer service here was extraordinary. I left my pizza unattended for a couple of minutes and returned to an empty box; My Dog gives BIP a 10/10. I came back the next day for another order and laughed about my dog & they gave me a second pie with a beautiful discount (totally unexpected, but helped my grieving heart LOL). I RECOMMEND BIP too all pizza lovers who want fresh & real, genuine, home style Detroit pizza. *—Their Deep Dish Cheese Bread is the BEST IN THE CITY. *The only thing I’d encourage them to improve is the ranch. Ok, let’s get right to it. Moved back to my original side of town and remembered coming here before the name change and everything, so wanted to give it a try since new management and everything. Cool. My first try was actually good. The young woman took my order correctly and food came out great. 2nd time, phone wasn’t connected but was still able to go in and place my order but the young woman taking it legit was kinda careless and i had to wait 30 mins for my wings. Ok, still cool. Yet, the 3rd time…..buddy was not only kinda rude on the phone call but when I went in kept ignoring certain questions of mine. Naked wings came out meh. Understand being busy but the people in the neighborhood really supports this place so I wanna keep doing the same but service has to get better. Also, prices on the menu AREN’T the real prices, so take in mind whateva you order, it may be a 2 to 3 dollar up charge…..(yes, at the bottom of the menu it says prices are subject to change without notice but still….give a...

Well first off , I used to order from Jets Pizza because it was close to me and I didn't really want to try anybody else's pizza.

Thing is , I really did t like the way jets on Jefferson does their pizza when you order it . It's usually always late and mildly warm and extremely greasey.

Anyways , I seen a flier for Belle isle Pizza and decided to give it a try . Did a pick up for a small deep dish pizza with Italian sausage and pepperoni . It tasted amazing and I could clearly tell the difference between their pizza and others . Only downside is they can sometimes take a bit longer when your picking up stuff but it's always super fresh and great .

Why I'm giving 5 stars tho is because it's delivery . Ordering from Belle Isle Pizza it actually comes on time and just as fresh if you went to pick it up .

If your on the east side you have to try this place cause it's a cut above the others in the same location off...
