eugenie — Local services in Detroit

First time shopping online with this local spot I've been to in-person. Overall greatly satisfied with my experience so far. I appreciate the warm and fun energy coming the open & communicative women that are the face of this lovely boutique. A lot of love and research goes into this business from what I can tell.

The only minor hang up on my first online order was a shirt that I just bought was no longer available/not able to be found even though it was still up on the site. Bummer.

I was promptly notified and refunded on my whole order and tried again with some other things I wanted. I still have good things to say and will continue to support how these ladies run things!

I simply just don't shop much at these kinds of places (yet haha) since the price range is naturally a bit higher cuz of how the clothing is made since you'll find a lot of uniquely organic & natural pieces.

Yay for more organic and ethically-made/sourced options in the area....

Eugenie is my favorite boutique in Detroit. I'm actually a past employee, and on both sides of the business the owners and team are dedicated to bettering the lives of those that enter into eugenie. There are items that cost a great deal, but what I love about that is that I am able to see these garments in person and learn about them. The owners go above and beyond to support the team and community. The employees are constantly discussing how to do the same. It is a unique experience inside that transports me back to Los Angeles. I love that I can purchase my favorite brands, such as Lié Studio jewelry, without having to spend extra money on shipping and wait weeks to see if I like it. Eugenie is always bringing in new brands. I love that they are in Detroit and what they are pursuing. I highly, highly recommend visiting this shop whether you are a local or visiting the city.
