Vernor Dental Care — Attraction in Detroit

This was my first time to this dentist office and based on all the good reviews I decided to go here for an emergency situation with my tooth. So here's my honest review from my own experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed because I really wanted to find a good dentist to come to receive my dental care. They were cordially nice, helpful and knowledgeable, but did not practice good hygiene. There was no handwashing or use of any hand sanitizer before putting on their gloves. I had to ask the girl who was my dental assistant/she was very nice(her name started with a"C") if she could wash her hands before doing my xray and touching my mouth. Which she complied, but said she had to go to another room to wash her hands because there wasn't any soap or papertowels in the room we were in with a sink. So I still didn't see her wash her hands. The actual dentist who came in to examine my mouth didn't even wash her hands or put on hand sanitizer before putting on gloves either. (Neither did she introduce herself or tell me her name. I had to ask her in mid conversation.)This is totally unacceptable and unsanitary. Because this is something that should already be practiced/done on a daily basis with every patient. Also, the interior of the office and exam chairs/equipment is all in need of a thorough deep cleaning. Very busy dentist office and just needs some time to be taken out for the place to be cleaned properly. Dr.Javiden & assistant Admonar Were Awwsome! I believe I’m spelling assistant name wrong but service was top tier I have fear and terrible anxiety when it comes to dentist was pushing it off and avoiding for some time due to insurance reason and the lack of trust and trying to find a good dentist, I believe I have found my new dentist office all the staff was very very nice!! When it came to my exams assistant & Dr. was very gentle understanding compassionate explained everything step by step gave me my treatment plan also allows you to choose what steps you would like to go in far as the plans, me being scared I ask if we could do the simple stuff first and work our way up she said that was fine overall I’m happy with the service 10 out of 10 highly recommend will also be bringing my kids here as well!
