I bought a 1,200 dollars laptop plus a 300 dollars protection. They showed me a very nice laptop for me to buy. Unfortunately they didn't had it with the specs I needed, so they order it for me. The seller told me my laptop would take a week to arrive. A week passed, I went to the store but they had no clue about my laptop. They didn't order it, so I had to wait a whole week more. A week later, it eventually arrived but surprisingly for me, that wasn't the laptop I was expecting. Apparently, I had bought an older version of the laptop they showed me two weeks before. Not only that, but it also came with Windows 7 (and it came with a Windows 10 CD), instead of Windows 10 as they had told me. I went back to the store and ask them to please update the software. One of the tech guys wasn't able to update it for some reason, so he called the manager. The manager said that all Workstations came with Win 7 (he later released he was wrong about that), and told me that they had to charge me an extra 25 dollars to update it to Win 10. I will never buy anything from them again. They are really unprofessional and don't care about...
Read moreIt’s taken over a month to get my laptop fixed. As a doctoral student this is very inconvenient. For this to be a university service it has no systems in place to help the students when in need of technical support for simple repairs. It’s very unfortunate.
I am updating this as it does not allow me to respond to your reply but my computer was dropped off by the CARTA department and as of today my estimated deliver is another month. Your employers have already said things have fell through the cracks ( one confirmed this today) because of the lack of attention. Luckily I am a person who has called almost every other day for 2 months now to keep YOUR TEAM ON TOP PF THEIR JOB and things are STILL falling through. My parts were JUST ORDERED 5 DAYS ago! This is beyond ridiculous and effecting my education as I cannot do my work. Weeks … ok but months? This is extremely unacceptable. I have asked to speak to managers who, go figure, are never in or available. I just want my computer back and a screen repair should not take 3 months idc what sign offs and orders has to happen...

Then tried to upsell me an additional item that would’ve made the headphones compatible but that completely defeated the purpose of purchasing a pair to begin with. Understandable as far as not accepting returns but not being able to exchange a brand new product that was never used which i bought 5 minutes prior to returning to the store & no longer serves any purpose to me its crazy.
