Barcroft Park — Attraction in Douglas Park

Overall well maintained park with a basketball court, tennis court, soccer field, several baseball fields, batting cages, a walking trail, sand volleyball court, hand ball court, 2 play gyms, picnic areas with grills, a gazebo for larger gatherings and even bathroom facilities. The area is clear of trash and debris. My only minor complaint is the state of the turf soccer field. There is a large strip of turf that has partially dislodged. This not only makes it difficult to play on but dangerous as your feet can be caught in it. Additionally, the goal nets need to be replaced and the higher nets meant to keep stray balls on the field is torn completely. This again is a danger to those standing behind the field unaware of a stray ball...

I live nearby. It's a great place to go for just about everything. The community center has a everything from a well-regarded gymnastics program to a well-stocked weight room. There are playgrounds with easy fun for the very small ones to a big climbing structure for the more adventurous children. Fantastic facility. The staff goes well beyond what you might expect and the instructors are knowledgeable and excellent with kids.

The indoor gymnasium is clean and offers an excellent space for all levels of gymnastics. An upper level has seating for parents.
